Episode 1
Mmachi, the pastor’s only daughter can sing! Her voice is just too heavenly and anointed that the whole atmosphere must feel God’s presence when she ministers. It was the annual convention of the church, PRAISE ARMOUR ASSEMBLY. The programme is usually held for e days. Mmachi is always the lead music minister because she knows how to draw down God’s presence through her ministration. On the second day, no one knew what happened but Mmachi refused to sing. CHOIR DIRECTOR——sister mma, you will be needed in few minutes. Please come close to the alter and by the way what are you doing outside here with your phone? Are you alright? MMACHI——Mr. Director i am not in the mood to sing today. I’m not the only chorister there. Appoint someone else. CHOIR DIRECTOR——-MMACHI, this is a convention, and you know you anchor it song ministration wise. What’s wrong with you? Prayers are about to round off, please come in and do the needful. MMACHI——-and i said i won’t. I don’t want to sing, I won’t sing, i don’t feel like singing, i——-(C.D cuts in) CHOIR DIRECTOR——-i am not asking you sister, it is an order. Follow me now. MMACHI——(bursts in laughter) did you just say order? Who are you to order me around. This is my father’s church. You have no right what so ever to order me around. Look for someone else i won’t sing. (Amidst the conversation, sis vivian, one of the choristers came around. She met the choir director coming into the church) SISTER VIVIAN———–boss, what’s going on sir? Sis Mma is needed now. Where is she? Is she ok? CHOIR DIRECTOR————she said she is not singing. I don’t know what to do. She is the only one who can do this. SISTER VIVIAN———–Don’t worry sir. I will sing. CHOIR DIRECTOR———-You will? But, you’ve not lead in praise and worship before. Anyways (lays his hands on her) may God use you tonight amen. Wow, wow and wow Vivian sang, Oh My God she sang!!!! Heaven kissed the earth, unusual rhema filled the place GREAT manifestation of God’s power took place. Mmachi wasn’t believing her ears. She walked into the church to see who that could be…………….. Sister Mmachi walked into the church. Super great worship was going on, miracles where taking place. Everyone felt it. Everyone was enveloped in his glory. Wow!!!! What a glorious meeting. The general overseer of the church REV Uzonna obidike, mmachi’s father mounted the stage. He shouted!!!!!! Gloooooooooorrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyy, what a ministration. Church i saw God, i felt God, heeeeyyyyyyy, i saw him come down. What a worship! He turned around. Where is that sister? please step forward. (Sister vivan mounts the altar) the reverend requested for a bottle of oil. He asked her to kneel and poured it on her head. Thus says the Lord God, i have chosen you as my trumpet. Sound out healing, minister deliverance, your voice shall be heard worldwide. Don’t be discouraged. The Lord said, well-done for standing out for me. It was a great program. ————REVEREND UZONNA’S RESIDENCE—————- REV———-what a wonderful glorious meeting today. I was really blessed. So vivian could sing like that? Wow!!!!! Wonderful!!!! Hmmm, that girl is a carrier of great anointing. I bless God for her. PASTOR CHINAZA(his wife) —————-I’m telling you honey. You know, GOD CANNOT CHANGE HIS COUNSEL OF PURPOSE, HE WILL RATHER CHANGE MAN. REV————hmmmm. That’s a deep one but how does it connect to this? PASTOR CHINASA————-ask your daughter. She refused to sing, insulted her director and God as well. I have always spoken to her about pride but will she listen? Hell no. See how God clipped those wings. REV———MMACHI is that true? Shame on you MMACHI———-dad, i see nothing special with what vivian did today. She sang so unprofessionally. No riffs and runs, no creativity, poor use of stage, bad mic handling, poor choice of ancient songs, jeeeeez !!!!!!!!! Daddy you just wasted your oil. And to think i haven’t be prayed for all these while is rather considered as cheating and it is a very big sin. If you think you did something great today, sorry to burst your bubble, you just embarrassed and publicly disgraced your only child. I’m totally disappointed in you dad. She didn’t do it right but God approved her, I approved her, the glory of God approved her and you know what young lady, that’s all that matters. PASTOR CHINASA———MMACHI, see you see deamination. MMAchi’s parents went into their bed room. They couldn’t sleep. Their daughter’s attitude is not just right for a child of God. PASTOR CHINAZA——–(suddenly exclaimed) Lord Jesus have mercy!!!!! What was that she just did? She isn’t even sorry about her actions. For no reason, she refused to sing. What nonsense. REV——-honey, i am totally speechless. But, we didn’t raise her like that. Or have we missed it somewhere, somehow? Hmmm, God please help me. PASTOR CHINAZA——she won’t be ministering henceforth till further notice. Segun (the choir director) has to be informed. That girl needs discipline. What nonsense. REV——-YOU’RE right honey. We should also back her up with prayers. PASTOR CHINAZA——HONEY let’s pray and sleep. Tomorrow is the grand-finale of the convention. Wow!!!! God has been faithful. Let’s begin to worship!!!!!!! ————–SISTER VIVIAN’S RESIDENCE————– She is the only daughter of a widow. She has an elder brother RICHARC by name who lives with his master. He is also a devoted child of God. What madam grace has successfully done is to bring her children close to Christ. Vivian got home. She couldn’t control it. THE MOVE OF THE HAND OF GOD!!!!!! It was mighty upon her. VIVIAN——–(on her knees, shivering and crying) mummy God used me!!!!!! His glory came down heavily and mightily. Her mum joined in the worship. Atmosphere of his glory was felt. ——————–CHURCH PREMISES———– despite being grounded, MMACHI wasn’t taking the decision at all. She walked up to altar when it was time for worship. REV did the unimaginable. REV——–PLEASE set back MMACHI. You won’t be ministering henceforth. You are suspended indefinitely. Let this sound as a warning to every worker in this church. God is no respecter of person. SISTER VIVIAN PLEASE COME FORWARD. GOD BLESS YOU. Episode 4
MMACHI’S attitude in church got everyone wondering. How can a music minister act like that? Daughter to the pastor for that matter. At home, REV and his wife did not take it lightly with her. They withheld her monthly allowance, stopped her freedom to scope food as she desires, banned her from seating with the choristers, gave her back seat, she mustn’t miss any church activity and she won’t be singing till further notice. MMACHI had her clique in church. Nonye, shola, uche and dayo. They so hated vivian. They constantly brought gist from the choir to MMACHI. They would always wish there was something they could do to stop her shine. Vivian was made the assistant choir director. She started by introducing the need for a high level of spirituality. She spoke on the need for every chorister to be devoted to prayers because they do not entertain, they minister and only a spirit filled person can minister God’s presence in the life of people. She told them to abstain from sin, fornication, adultery, pride, hatred, jealousy and envy. God cannot use anyone who indulge in such. She also talked about constant rehearsals and the kind of food they are to eat. More of fruits and vegetable. There was beginning to be great revival in the choir. REV and his wife took so much interest in vivian’s ministry. She has started getting invitation to minister in different places. Rev and his wife bought new clothes and shoes for her. They engaged her in constant fasting and praying. They put her through rehearsals too. Vivian would always report back to them after every programme she attended. She would always seek for advice and counsel. Vivian went to Ghana. As she mounted the pulpit, she busted into tongue and took the song LET IT RAIN BY SONNIE BAIDU. And glory poured down. A woman who had tumor received instant healing, a girl blind from birth received her sight. Hmmmm, even the lame walked. Vivian herself was surprised. There was jubilation in PRAISE ARMOUR ASSEMBLY as she arrived. She was beginning to be popular as well. Hardly she goes out without someone saying please are you VIVIAN, GOD’S TRUMPET? Vivian was on her way from a program when a lady called her from her car. She stopped as the lady parked and came out of her car. “VIVIAN THE LORD’S TRUMPET” we finally meet. When you think you have finally arrived, the church will make a total mess of you and joyfully rub your glory in the mud. I don’t want you to face what i faced. It was terrible. I was wrongly accused of dating a married man in church and during that saga my mum feel ill, she had appendix and it busted in side of her. I needed money for an urgent operation for my mum. NO ONE OF THEM RENDERED HELP(tears) and i lost my mum. To add to the pain, they weren’t at her funeral because i was a sinner, a sin i never committed. Vivan, I am very sorry for you. Very soon, hahahahahaha, it will be your turn. VIVIAN—I reject it in Jesus name. Even if the church rejects me God will not. He is the one I serve actually not the church. Vivian got home. Her mum called out MADAM GRACE—-VIVI you’re back. Welcome. How did it go? VIVIAN—–WENT WELL MAMA(hands over a brown envelope) God favored me. It went further to say that you do not fight against flesh and blood but against principalities and against powers. God can never abandon his own. They are providing her visa and passport but she will be providing the ticket money. For the first time ever in her life VIVIAN IS GOING TO THE U.S.A!!!!!!!!!!! THE church was overjoyed, REV was so gladdened, his wife was rejoicing. It is too good to be true. REV called a meeting. VIVIAN had a terrible dream that afternoon. In her dream, she went fishing and got drowned. She was crying out for help, no one came to her rescue. Her Rev was there, church members, friends, on one could help. Her mum rendered some help but couldn’t. She was almost dying when she woke up. ViVIAN shared with her mum. They prayed. Previously, during the day, ELDER GABRIEL, who is in charge of her Travelling plans called her on phone and wished to see her by 4pm at his apartment. VIVIAN———–mama, i need to see ELDER GABRIEL now at his place. MADAM GRACE————–i think you should go and see the pastor first. That dream is not an ordinary one. Your trip is tomorrow. The door opened. Elder gabriel’s daughter walked in. UCHE——argh argh, vivian, what are you doing in my house? (Sights her towel) what’s my towel doing here? (she sights her dad’s leg) why’s my dad lying down der? Dad! dad!!! (Comes closer, sights blood and her lifeless father) JESUS!!!!!!!! daddy!!!!!!! What happened to my father? What is going on here? (She goes to her dad’s phone to make a call and sights the nude video of vivian bathing) vivian, is this why you killed him? Because he knows your secret? Anointed singer in deed. (Vivian was just crying) Vivian was arrested. Doctor confirmed the elder dead. Vivian was just crying. She won’t be going to the U.S anymore. Some members who were willing to help withdrew because of the warning melted out in church that all members should hands off the case. Vivian’s mum was all alone. She succeeded in getting a good lawyer. The lawyer raised a point. The video was shot in elder gabriel’s house. How come? His point was that the elder purposely did that to blackmail her. VIVIAN became so popular even in prison. The prison’s Christian fellowship took a new look. Her ministration was glorious. Suzzy hot’s group did alot to frustrated vivian. First, she was accused of false religion and then ganging up with the inmates to find a way of escape. She was place on chains hands and legs constantly. She was told never to sing anymore. Food was even once in a while. It was really tough. She wept and wept. Constantly she prayed for God’s vindication. One day, she couldn’t hold it anymore. She started singing. She was given the beating of her life. 8ju om Suzzy hot’s effort to make vivian change her mind wasn’t yielding any positive result. Vivian has vowed to die than join the devil. God truly started intervening. 8 ——————-REV’S OFFICE————— A young lady walked into the rev’s office. Young lady————-good morning sir REV———-GOOD MORNING. YOURE WELCOME. HOW MAY I HELP YOU? THEY WILL BURY THEIR FATHER ON THEIR OWN, THE CHURCH HAS FAILED THEM, THIS AND THAT. JESUS CHRIST!!!! OH VIVIAN!!!!!!…. I don’t understand. That day, elder Gabriel was bleeding seriously that day. How come he didn’t sustain any injury? YOUNG- LADY————–SIR, I DON’T KNOW BUT A BY NAME SUZZY HOT CAME TO OUR HOSPITAL WITH HER FRIEND SHE CALLED MMACHI. THEY WERE THE ONES WHO ARRANGED EVERYTHING. The can of warms opened the more after the nurse came to the rev’s office. Rev called for a meeting with the church leaders. He invited the nurse and Mmachi his daughter. At first, Mmachi never knew what the meeting was all about and why she was sermoned until she saw NURSE TITI. She was shocked. REV——-MMACHI, DO YOU KNOW THIS LADY? MMACHI——NO. WHO IS SHE PLEASE? REV———ARE YOU SAYING YOU DON’T KNOW THIS LADY? MMACHI——–DADDY, YES. I DON’T KNOW HER. SEE, I HAVE ALOT TO DO O. IF WHY I WAS SERMONED WAS TO ASK ME IF I KNOW A LADY, I BEG TO TAKE MY LEAVE. REV and his wife were admitted in the same hospital. Rev was getting better but his wife hasn’t regained consciousness. The news went virial. Suzzy hot’s cult members shot the nurse who would have testified to the police against them. They also shot MMACHI rev’s only child. She died at the spot. In the prison where VIVIAN was, one of the prison warden who worked for suzzy hot was given a substance to poison VIVIAN’s meal. He gave it to the woman in charge of food to put the substance in the food meant for vivian for a sum of # 1OOOOO. VIVIAN ate the food and didn’t die. Next morning the prison warden was groaning in pains. The woman reported what he asked her to do to the authorities. They instructed her to put the substance in the food and give him to eat. While in was groaning in pains, he was told to call the person who instructed him to poison vivian to come he would like to see her. Suzzy hot came. The police was already around. She was arrested. The warden died. VIVIAN WAS RELEASED!!!!! Rev’s wife couldn’t make it. She went to be with the Lord. Vivian was reunited with her family.
