There’s a wise saying by Barbara De Angelis, that goes thus, “Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.” Kindness goes a long way when it’s rendered with a good motive and positive intention.
To be kind to others means to show them love, irrespective of who they are, irrespective of their ethnical groups, religion backgrounds, races, or tribes they belong to.
When you’re kind to others, either in deeds (financial and material supports, or by words, by uttering words of encouragement, motivation, and showing love to them), you’re sowing good seeds of blessings and multiplication, that’ll be harvested by you, or someone closer to you, after a particular period of time.
Do not neglect people whenever they come to you for assistance; if you’re in a position to do it, kindly do it for them), do not abandon people in terms of their needs or trials.
Because, by contributing your own part to their lives, you’re sowing seeds for yourself, whose fruits you shall reap, in the nearest future, or as soon as possible.
#CaseStudy: Once upon a time, there were these three young men called, Junior, Jude, and Joses. They’ve been friends, right from their childhood, from the same village, known as, “FIWAJOMI KINGDOM”. The trio were so popular throughout the whole kingdom, which made people to nicknamed them as “The Jay-Cube”; in accordance with their names initial.
King Orelope of FIWAJOMI Kingdom, was an old man in his late eighties, who had three beautiful wives, but none of them bore him a son, who will become the heir of the throne. According to the custom of FIWAJOMI Kingdom, it’s only the male counterpart that can be crowned as king.
One day, the king made up his mind to get a young man that is going to succeed him, after he has gone to be with his ancestors. He decided to select a wise and kind young man that’ll govern the kingdom right and make the welfarism of the villagers his number one priority.
One day, the king disguised himself and dressed like a first-class beggar, putting on a worn-out clothe. He then took a walk throughout the village begging for arms from people. But, to his greatest surprise many young men that he met on the way were neglecting him, and passing him by without showing love.
It’s only old men, old women, and young ladies that were giving him arms. Lo and behold, he met the three popular young men known as “The Jay-Cube” on his way, and asked for arms from them, they didn’t notice him at first, because they’re all carried away with their deep conversations. They all neglected the old man at first.
But, Jude, who was so kind, soft-hearted, and caring, turned back, ran to meet the old man, dipped his right hand into his pocket and brought out a two hundred naira note, being the highest note currency then, and gave it to the old man.
He also gave the man the remaining oranges he’s left with, inside a black nylon bag, and also get the man pure water to drink, in order to satisfy his taste. Not knowing that he’s doing himself a favor.
In the long run, the old man put on his original identity, and the whole villagers were surprised that it’s the king that has been begging for arms, since morning.
The king narrated the motive behind this, and the people were calmed. The king then gave a verdict that after his demise, Jude should be crowned as the new KING OF FIWAJOMI KINGDOM.
Three months later, the king died, lo and behold, Jude was crowned by the king makers, and became the new king of FIWAJOMI KINGDOM, and was known as, “ORELOPE The vii of FIWAJOMI KINGDOM.
LESSON: Always be of help to the less privileged, who are in needs; you never knew the caliber of person they are. Your one time kindness can change your whole life for the best, throughout your life on earth.
Never neglect people in terms of their needs, do the one you’re capable of doing, and do not follow negative sayings of people condemning others not to give to others; they only want to hinder your own blessings. Do not follow their negative words.
