Jadiel and I had offered to pick up Huxley from the airport. We parked the car at the east (MIA) as we were scheduled to return together
“He is here” Kohen divulged. He raised his hand, looking in the direction of Huxley that stood at the airport curb, his suitcase by his side.
He looked up and smiled as he walked up to us. We exchanged pleasantries, hugging each other. Finally, we got into the car and we started driving back.
“How did the meeting with the client go? Did it happen as planned? Was it better than expected?”Jadiel inquired
“It was awesome, I’ll give you more details later” Huxley replied
“I’ve found the love of my life” Jadiel told Huxley, grinning all over his face
“Really? I think she’s really great” Huxley muttered
“Yea, I love her more than I have ever loved anyone else. No other person could ever and will ever compare to the way I feel about her” Jadiel gave an affirmative answer
“Then it is the right time to confess your feelings to the girl you love” Huxley uttered
“I don’t want to rush it. It might take some time to determine the right moment because I’m not in a hurry to show my interest” Jadiel said
“Can’t wait to meet her in person” Huxley commented

We entered the living room and Aaliyah ran to Jadiel, giving him a hug and peck on the cheek
Then she gave me a big hug and turned to Huxley with one arm encircling her possessively. I recalled how soothing her hug had been earlier and itched to feel her soft, warm body in my arms again. She was so pure and innocent, we sleep in the same bed, with no hidden meaning whatsoever
“Why do I feel weird? Something is wrong but I don’t know what and it makes me feel slightly nervous and afraid”
Jadiel grasped her arm and pulled her away from me, then I began to see how foolish I’d been
Huxley flashed her a strained smile as she shyly took his outstretched hand
“That wide-eyed innocent look and those full lips with the round head, covered with pretty curls reminded me of a fairytale princess” Huxley said to Aaliyah, making her to laugh quietly
Huxley made a self-introduction and sat on the sofa, relaxing
“Ric thank you for taken care of Aaliyah for the past two weeks. As agreed, Aaliyah will follow Huxley home” Jadiel stated
I was staring into space not knowing why I felt something valuable was been taken away from me. I was not completely sure about what I was thinking or feeling about her. Part of me still believed that it wasn’t a big deal
A great beautiful face stared
hopefully down at me without any pretense of manners, feeling somewhat breathless
Maybe she thought I would change my mind, but it wasn’t going to happen.
“How did you manage to persuade Ric to accommodate Aaliyah in the first place?” Huxley put the question to Jadiel
“It wasn’t that easy” Jadiel murmured under his breath
“I took a nonstop flight to Miami and I’m very tired, I hope I’ll have a good sleep” Huxley said. He stood up and stretched. Then held his hands out and Aaliyah hurled herself into his arms.
“You don’t have to take anything, I will get everything needed for you” Huxley told her as they walked out of the house and Jadiel went with them
