✨AALIYAH POV✨
I sighed with relief when I got back to Ric’s mansion. Taking a deep breath, and began to climb the stairs.
Ric followed me to my room and stared at the wall, deep in thought for a few minutes. A deep furrow ran across his forehead, as he took a step forward, standing by a window.
After a while he jerked his head around and looked at me. I watched him with naive, childlike curiosity, waiting for him to say something. Then he spoke up
“Go take a shower”
Without hesitation, I went into the bathroom to clean up and after a few minutes, I left the bathroom, freezing.
I whirled and marched to a closet inside my room, and commenced to change into my nightwear. It was more comfortable and cozy than ever, and it didn’t require long sleeves
Ric grasped my hand while walking together out of my room.
“Would you like something to eat?” He asked when we got to his room and I shook my head
“Are you sure? Just tell me what you want, I’ll sort something out” For the first time, he spoke softly. I didn’t know he had a gentle, quiet voice and manner
“Yes, I’m sure” I texted him
I’m going to take a shower, go to bed” He said and left the room

I woke up early in the morning I stared at Ric lying on the bed. He looked so innocent and peaceful, wrapped up in a warm blanket with his eyes shut
Then I remembered that ranting, domineering bully. She intimidated me because she perceived me as vulnerable.
“I wish I could talk” I got emotional and a slow tears rolled down my face
“Admiring my face?” Ric’s voice spoke beside me
Cautiously he opened his eyes, he let his gaze fell sternly on my face and he raised his eyebrows upwards in a way that showed mild dissaproval
“Are you not tired of crying?” He asked. He started to sit up, frowned, and sank back weakly against the pillow, his eyes fixed on me
He pulled out the flatware drawer and got out a pen and a diary and shoved the drawer shut
“Write down your thoughts and feelings so that I can understand them more clearly” he mumbled
“Lucy called me a dumb commoner and her brother’s slut”
He took the diary from me and began to read. After a few seconds, he lifted his head and looked at me
“You’re great and you mean a lot to my Dad. Henceforth I’ll defend you against bully” he talked calmly then paused as if having a second thought, he wiped a tear from my eyes and looked away for a moment.
“I will take you out for dinner to make you feel better and so you forget all your worries and unhappiness” he said
“Thank you” I wrote. The sun had already climbed high into the sky before I finally got out of bed and had a good stretch, then opened the door and walked into my room.
First, I took a shower then I brushed my teeth. After that, I put on my clothes and went downstairs to eat my breakfast
