💠JADIEL POV💠
The first thing I noticed as I stepped out of the car was a strange car in the parking space
I missed Aaliyah and I decided to pay her visit and spent quality time with her before leaving for office. I opened the front door and quietly walked through the living room
“Aaliyah!” I screamed
A sinking feeling of panic swept over me, a temporary paralyzing fear. I rushed to the flat flooring at the bottom of the staircase. I felt a spasm of anxiety sweeping over me, seeing the amount of blood that was gushing out from her nose
Mia turned her head to watch me and I slapped her across the face, an intense feeling of fear was flying through her at the feral look she gave me. She didn’t know me because that was the first time she would see me
One of the golden rules of being a Real Man is that you never raise your hand to a woman but I’d to violate the rules because she was a bitch. Mia wasn’t a person with good nature and she had proven her belligerent behavior in my presence. So I made sure she paid for her warlike attitude
I picked Aaliyah up in my arms and I carried her up to her bedroom and contacted Doctor Mich by phone.
“I’m so sorry I arrived late” I murmured then gave her a kiss on the hand
I waited for Doctor Mich until he arrived and without hesitation, he started his duty
She was so injured and she looked pale, cold, perspiring freely, and appeared semi-comatose. She scared me half to death and I didn’t mind admitting it, until Doctor Mich spoke up
“She didn’t sustain internal injury, so hopefully she will be fine”
Just then his telephone rang and he answered the phone
“I will be there. I’m getting into the car now” He said
I noticed his shocked expression as he hung up the phone
“I will be back” he told me and hurried out of the room
I was becoming increasingly suspicious of his motives.
Ric and Kohen met him at the door, they smiled and exchanged pleasantries with one another
When Ric saw me he grew flurried, evidently undecided whether to talk to me or to wait till I talk to him
No matter how sorry he was for what he did or how many times he apologized or tried to make up for it, it couldn’t remove the hurt
“What happened at home today?” Kohen asked
I stood up and walked out of the room without saying a word
