As we board the private jet, we were asked to relinquish our mobile phones. I sat next to Jadiel on the plane and I wondered, “would we still like each other if Jadiel see Aaliyah”
After two hours, I looked bored and yawned. “I’m feeling sleepy now” I said suddenly in a rushed tone.
Jadiel looked at me and chuckled. He unfastened my seatbelt, we moved toward the reclining chairs that can be converted into large, lie-flat sleeping areas and I slept uninterrupted for 6-7 hours of the flight.
“Wake up sleeping beauty!” Jadiel tapped me on the shoulder
I stretched and stood up, I was no longer sleepy, but full of energy and excitement. The plane landed safely and Ric was already waiting for us at the airport. What a stunning man with a large smile, he dressed in white and stood a few feet away.
“I missed you” I jumped on him and hugged him so tight, ruffling his dark curls
“Why would my sister try to make me look ugly, are you sure you’re truly my twin?” Ric frowned as he ran his hand through his hair.
“Where is Aaliyah?” Jadiel asked and moved forward to hug Ric. He was so surprised he froze for a second. He looked at Jadiel covering his surprise with a smile
“Aaliyah is at home and I don’t want to disturb her while she is sleeping” Ric answered
“Ria also slept the whole flight, these girls are really enjoying” Jadiel said and Ric simpered as he led us toward the car

We got to Ric’s new luxury mansion and it was heavily-fortified abode. The building sits in splendid isolation on top of the hill. He bought the house on our 22nd birthday and it worth it.
Jadiel rushed upstairs and I knew he went to see Aaliyah. I made myself comfortable on the sofa, my arm around Ric and a maid appeared and said that Aaliyah was “in a sweet sleep and should not be disturbed.”
Ric dismissed the advice with a wave of his hand and the maid bowed politely, then walked away.
“When did you start hiring female workers?” I asked
“I hired them because of Aaliyah, I figured it out that she needs her gender around her” Ric answered
“That’s so thoughtful of you…” I was still talking when Jadiel joined us with Aaliyah in his arms. She rubbed her eyes to adjust to the brightness in the living room and smiled at me
“I hope you are doing well” I muttered, kissing her cheeks and she nodded
Her smile was really beautiful, I couldn’t blame Jadiel for misbehaving around her.
“I’m happy you’re here” she texted me
“I’m happy to see your pretty face as well” I winked at her
“Happy birthday in advance” She texted me again
“Oh my goodness! I totally forgot tomorrow is our birthday!” I exclaimed
Aaliyah held my hand as she dragged me gently to her room upstairs, leaving Ric and Jadiel in the living room to sort things out
“Do you want to tell me something?” I asked and she nodded, smiling
“Your smile is so beautiful and you always look adorable when you smile, keep smiling baby” I said sincerely
She widened her eyes in surprise and mentally facepalmed herself. I didn’t know Ric could be friendly and kind-hearted until I saw Aaliyah, she looked truly radiant and she glows brightly. I was happy that his perspective about seeing women as evil had really changed, all thanks to Aaliyah.
I checked my phone and saw her text message. “What do you suggest I should buy for Ric tomorrow”
“Wow! You are thinking about my brother, what about me?” I shook my head, frowning
“I’ve already asked Ric about your favorites” She texted
“You’re the best baby, let me tell you his favourites” I said and began to tell her everything she needed to know
After a few minutes, we went downstairs to join those big heads.
