LUXURY RESTAURANT
Henley stood beside his car waiting for Itzel to arrive, to ensure that he was not bored while expecting Itzel, he started pressing his phone, then he positioned the earpiece of his communication headphones better
Itzel arrived a few minutes later and rushed out of her car.
“I’m such a latecomer, so sorry for keeping you waiting,” She quickly apologized
“It’s fine, you look gorgeous my rainbow,” Henley whispered
He could see her cheeks redden when he complimented her on her beauty.
There was a host at the entrance that led them into the restaurant. Henley walked in first and pulled back a chair for Itzel so that she can sit while he sat opposite her.
“Are you ready to order, what will you like to eat?” Henley asked
“I don’t know,” said Itzel shyly
“I thought you would have outgrown this your timid attitude, you’re no longer a teenager rainbow, behave like an adult,” Henley smiled
He held her hand in his and placed it on his right cheek, leering into her eyes
“Rainbow tell me what you want,” Henley insisted
“Desert and Ice cream,” Itzel finally stated biting her nails nervously
Henley lifted her chin up, that she might look at him while she speaks.
Itzel lifted a brow inquisitively, stretched her neck as if she intended to say something but immediately shifted her gaze downwards, avoiding eye contact with him.
“Do I look scary, why can’t you look into my eyes rainbow?” Henley shook his head and sighed softly
“You don’t look scary, in fact you’re good-looking, having attractive and imposing appearance,” Itzel murmured, looking innocently at him.
“Tell me something, why do you feel shy around me?” Henley asked
“Because I like you since when we were in high school, I don’t always get myself anytime I’m close to you,” Itzel said truthfully, biting her lower lip
“The feelings is mutual, do you know that I planned to ask you out after our prom but you just disappeared from Ottawa all of a sudden
I don’t have a girlfriend since then believing that I will see you again and here you are sitting in front of me looking radiant
I love you rainbow, will you be my girlfriend?” Henley confessed his feelings to her
Itzel blushed, smile on her face as she glanced around the table. Then she lowered her gaze and blushed even deeper.
“I love you too Henly, I don’t have a boyfriend since we’ve relocated to this city, so my answer is ‘YES’ I will be your girlfriend”. Itzel whispered almost inaudibly, glancing up at him from under her brows, she was smiling broadly and almost crying from excitement
Henley leaned forward and his lips covered hers in a long warm kiss that left her short of breath, she returned his kiss passionately and after a while, she pulled her head back.
“That was amazing, I love you,” Henley muttered as he pulled away from the kiss
He brought out a silver diamond bracelet, wore it on her wrist, and gently placed a soft kiss on the bracelet
“This is my token of love rainbow, don’t lose it please”
“I will keep it safe, I love you Henley, thank you,” Itzel said as she kept staring at the beautiful bracelet on her wrist with pure admiration
Henley later ordered for desert and ice cream for Itzel while he ordered for Tangy potato salad with Bacon for himself.
