“I hope you girls enjoyed your vacation
What do you bring for your mother”, Aleta was excited to see her children that just arrived from Ottawa
“It was fun Mum we really enjoyed ourselves
Ottawa is a beautiful city and we were taken on a tour,” Greta replied her mother, smiling gleefully at her
“Mum where is Dad”? Ximena asked looking around the living room but couldn’t find her father
“I’m here sunshine”, they heard Theodore’s voice as he walked down the stairs
Ximena ran to hug her father as she was excited to see him again.
“Hope you had fun”? Theodore asked his daughter as he stroke her hair and kissed her forehead
“Much fun Dad I missed you”, Ximena responded clutching her arms tightly around her Father’s waist
“That’s enough Mena allow me to greet Dad”, Greta pulled her sister away from her father and also hugged him
“My light how was your trip”? Theodore asked Greta as he placed a kiss on her cheek
“Fun! Fun! Fun!” Greta smiled and rubbed her nose on her father’s chest
Greta remembered that she bought so many things for her father and her Mum
She pulled away from the hug and started to unpack her bags, trying to show them what she bought for them.
“That’s so thoughtful of you my light, I love everything you bought for me, it’s so beautiful”, Theodore appreciated her daughter as he checked everything that he was given
“This is so unique baby girl I love it,” Aleta said also checking out the Pure gold wrist watch Greta bought for her.
Aleta turned and face Ximena who was sitting on the couch, busy pressing her phone
“What do you buy for us Mena”?
“Nothing Mum, you and Dad have everything what else are you expecting”? Ximena uttered nonchalantly and shifted her gaze back to her phone
“We have everything but your sister still bought us gifts
Why can’t you just be like her even if it’s just for once,” Aleta berated her daughter as she wasn’t pleased with her first daughter’s behavior….
