THEODORE RESIDENCE
“I thought you bought these dresses for Autry, what is it still doing in your room” ?
Greta asked as she entered her sister’s room
She saw the small box lying down on the floor still filled with clothes, Greta looked curiously at her sister who was staring at her closet
Ximena brought out a pink pajamas and put it on,
She brushed her hair and parked it in a ponytail before replying Greta
“Autry rejected it just because I said he didn’t appreciate what I bought for him”, Ximena said nonchantly as she sat in front of a dressing mirror
“Is that all? You might have said something terrible that makes Autry to reject your gifts, that guy is so cool and he loves you Mena, behave yourself around him so that you won’t lose him”, Greta stated
“Come back and preach to me when you get yourself a boyfriend”, Ximena scoffed at Greta, using a cleanser to remove her makeup.
“Girls! It’s time for dinner”, Aleta yelled outside the room
Greta and Ximena hurriedly left the room to meet their mother
Theodore was already at the dining as his wife and kids joined him and settled down to have a family dinner
Theodore looked up and cleared his throat, getting the attention of his family, he spoke up
“Banks came to my office today”
“You mean the owner of Banks Gas company” ? Aleta asked, she was surprised to hear the news.
“Yes, I was also amazed to see him
You know someone like him doesn’t go out anyhow, he actually came on behalf of his son, he said that his son likes my sunshine and he want me to talk to my daughter”, Theodore announced to his family
“Dad Mena has a boyfriend and he’s a good guy, Greta murmured, she wasn’t pleased to hear the news, she likes Autry for her sister and that was all that matters to her.
“I know she has a boyfriend but I heard that he’s poor, I don’t think he can take care of my sunshine, Theodore stated his opinion.
