AUTRY APARTMENT
Autry had been trying to reach Ximena on phone for more than a week but all his efforts proved abortive
He looked restless as he kept calling her number but it was not reachable
“What is happening, why is Ximena’s number not reachable for the past one week, She didn’t even try to call or visit me
What have I done to deserve this, has she given up on our love”, many thoughts ran through his mind as he paced up and down the room nervously
He decided to pay her a visit so as to know what exactly was wrong with her, he couldn’t take it anymore as the distance between them was becoming unbearable for him
He thought maybe she was even sick that was why she didn’t hear from her, he scolded himself for being a bad boyfriend and without hesitation, he picked his car keys and rushed out of his house.
ZOLTAN RESIDENCE
Greta arrived at Zoltan’s residence and stepped into the house. She wore a beaming smile on her face as she saw Bonita cleaning the center table in the living room.
Bonita greeted her cheerfully, which makes her feel more welcomed
“Is Chester around”? Greta asked
“He just returned from the office not quite long, he’s in his room,” Bonita answered her.
Greta ran excitedly up the stairs, she knocked on the door and waited for Chester to answer.
Chester heard someone knocking on the door, so he opened it to see who was there, even though he thought his sister was at the door but turned out to be Greta
Greta jumped on him like a baby, grining from ear to ear
“You didn’t tell me that you’re coming”, Chester muttered as he wrapped his hand around her and held her tightly
“I just wish to give you a surprise visit, I missed you and I can’t stop thinking about you since the day you dropped me off at home”, Greta uttered
“I just want to give you enough time to think about my proposal,” Chester spoke softly
He brought out a bottled water from the refrigerator and opened it before giving it to Greta
Greta made herself comfortable on the couch, she stared intently at Chester as she gulped a mothful of water.
She just kept staring at him, realising she clenched her phone in her hand, she locked the screen and dropped it on the couch beside her.
It was now Chester’s turn to stare at her with varying look of curiosity and intensity, Greta returned his gaze hoping he would back off but Chester continued to blatantly stare, then Greta finally looked away like a shy puppy.
After the staring competition between them, Greta put her thoughts in order, thus she decided to confess her feelings to him
“I’ve deeply thought about your proposal and my answer is ‘YES’, I like you too Chester”
Chester chuckled softly and pulled her close,
“What if I’m ugly, you know you haven’t seen my face before”?
“I like your personality Chester, you’re cool, calm, kind-hearted and you have a charming voice that can make women bow at your feet”, Greta responded as she straightened on the couch, blushing
“And I promise not to make you regret your decision for choosing me”, Chester gave a positive declaration

Ruby had dozed off earlier while waiting for Chester, she woke up at 7pm and looked round for a while with startled expression, feeling as if a truck had hit her
She glanced at the larger wall clock with nice sized date displays at the top.
She gasped in surprise as she rubbed her eyes to know if she was actually seeing clearly
She had thought she would be awake before Chester came back from the office but she didn’t know she had slept that much.
She bite her lips as she yanked the blanket over her body, she hurriedly stood up from the bed and strolled into be bathroom, washed her face and wiped her face with a towel.
Ruby walked out of her room with the intention to see her brother and had a conversation with him.
Without knocking, she strode into his room and saw Chester and Greta kissing
