“Welcome back to your father’s house kids”, Zane smiled at his nephew.
They just arrived in Sydney and Zane took Maddox and Henley to his brother’s house, he wanted them to rest and get used to the house before taking them to the company the following day to introduce both Henley and Maddox to the board of directors
Maddox moved closer to the family portrait hung on the wall and touched it
“I want to know how my twin brother looks like
Will he look exactly like me or like Henley
Maynard please I want to see you if you’re still alive
I don’t believe in fate but if it does exist please let me meet my twin brother”, Maddox murmured under his breathe as tears rolled down his cheeks
“We will see Mum and Maynard one day if they’re still alive, For now let’s be strong for each other”, Henley consoled his kid brother as he gave Maddox a comforting hug
“You guys should stay strong
You’re now an adult, Move on with your life
I hope you have a complete family one day”, Zane said to his nephews
Henley and Maddox thanked their uncle and told him to go home since they can take care of themselves, Zane patted their shoulders and Walked out of his brother’s house.
Maddox and Henley went upstairs to their parent’s room and checked everything left by their parents
They both walked to their play room and saw their toys were still there just like it used to be when they were kids
“Mum bought this particular toy for you and Maynard when you celebrated your two years birthday”, Henley picked a set of toy gun and showed it to Maddox
“Who are you and how did you get here?” Vera asked as she curiously looked at the back of the people standing in the play room
Maddox and Henley heard a voice from behind, they turned in order to see the person that was talking to them
“Who are you”? Maddox inquired as Henley kept staring at the person standing in front of them
Vera? You’re our nanny right? Henley asked, vaguely unsure.
