Ruby prepared a delicious dinner for the family, Chester was surprised that his sister can now cook and do house chores, he thanked Autry for teaching her how to be responsible
Everyone was present at the dining including Zane and Autry as they managed to have a nice family dinner.
After the dinner, Zoltan wiped his mouth, cleared his throat and began to speak
“Zane, can you tell us what my father did to you?” Zoltan wanted to know what made Zane to lose his temper and shot at him which almost cost Chester’s life
He knew Zane wasn’t angry because he abducted Chester and Gracelyn, Zane just wanted a revenge
Zane cast a quick look at Zoltan and nodded his head
“Your father killed my only child,” Zane shook his head as he started talking again.
FLASHBACK 1 { 21 YEARS AGO}
Zane and Olive became lovers soon after they first met, she was a lover of horses and horse racing, they became so close that they can’t do without each other
Olive got pregnant for her lover and informed Zane about the pregnancy.
Loud, coarse laughter and joyous shouts ensued. Zane celebrated his unborn child and he thought of marrying Olive in few months time
Olive was two months gone when her father, Miller brought a rich man, Mark, to their house and introduced him to Olive
Olive persuaded her father to permit her to marry the person her heart chose and that she cannot love the man he chooses for her but her plea fell on deaf ears
Olive briefed her father that she was pregnant for her lover but Miller had already made up his mind to marry off his daughter in order to grow his business and told Olive to abort the baby
Olive became helpless and hopeless, she cried everyday out of anger and frustration
Zane almost ran mad the day Olive got married to Mark, he lost hope when he heard that Olive had aborted his baby
He grieved and mourned his unborn child for two years, he became emotionally and mentally disturbed and vowed to take revenge but Zane moved on with his life when he heard about Olive’s death.
