EYAL BANKS RESIDENCE
Ximena was reading, “Meal Prep, Cookbook” in the room, she sat down on the leather chair, her back leaned on the reclining chair as she put her legs on the table
Eyal sacked all the house workers and bought a cookery book for Ximena, she was single-handedly doing house chores and cooking simple meals
Ximena kept reading so as to prepare dinner for her husband before he returned from work, she closed the book and dropped it on the table
Ximena put on a sleeveless top and walked out of the room
She got to the kitchen, wandering aimlessly up and down, thinking of how to practicalize what she had read in the room
Ximena brought out a pot and placed it on the gas cooker, pouring two cups of water inside the pot.
After that, she kept staring at the pot on the gas cooker, trying to remember what she read in the book
Exasperation showed on her face as she rufled her hair and angrily turn off the gas cooker
Ximena screamed, feeling frightened and shocked when she heard a voice behind her
Eyal coughed and smiled briefly as he looked at his wife struggling in the kitchen
Ximena didn’t noticed when Eyal entered the kitchen, she got carried away with her inability to cook
“Can I have my food now?” Eyal asked, there was a tone of mockery in his voice
Ximena choked on saliva, she was lost for words, too afraid to talk, praying in her mind for Eyal not to cause any trouble
“Cat got your tongue?” Eyal moved closer to Ximena, carefully observing her, he could clearly see fear in her eyes, he smirked and walked out of the kitchen
Ximena suddenly felt dizzy, she held her head feeling unsteady, she couldn’t control the sensation of spinning around her as she finally lose balance and collapse on the floor
Eyal rushed to the kitchen, seeing his wife lying unconscious on the floor, he has a guilty look on his face as he carried Ximena to their room and called his family doctor.
