Ximena held her phone tightly to her bossom, tears stung her eyes as her gaze fell on her bulging belly
The day she collapsed in the kitchen, doctor announced that Ximena was pregnant and the doctor told Eyal to take care of her to avoid Perinatal depression, so that the health of a mother and the baby will not be at risk
Eyal followed the doctor’s advice and hired a maid to clean the house but he still insisted that Ximena should be the one cooking his food
He returned her phone back to her with a stern warning, Ximena was at least happy that she could communicate with her family and friend, Freda, just that she couldn’t tell them her Predicament
How can she tell her bestie the unpleasant and embarrassing situation she was passing through in her marriage
Ximena couldn’t control her tears after the call she received from Greta
Greta had called her sister earlier to gist her about the true identity of Autry
Ximena was sobbing uncontrollably, she was fixated on luxury lifestyle, she was so stupid to lose the man that truly loved her, it’s better to be single than marrying Eyal
Ximena couldn’t tell what came over her, her trembling hands slowly searched for Autry on social media, she called him on video call, waiting for him to pick up his call, she was clueless of what to tell him, she just wanted to see his cute face and to hear Autry’s voice
Autry was probably too shocked to speak as he answered the call, seeing Ximena looking miserable broke his heart

Eyal who had been busy in his private library reading scripts walked into his room, he eyed the phone Ximena was holding and saw Autry on the display screen, he was driven mad with anger, he gave Ximena a slap on her cheek from behind and forcefully grabbed her hair
Ximena screamed as the phone fell down from her hand
Eyal punched her repeatedly on her stomach forgetting that he was punching a pregnant woman, perhaps anger had clouded his vision
Autry got worried that Ximena might get hurt as he heard Ximena’s scream on the phone
Autry ran to his brother’s room and without knocking, he rushed inside the room
“Greta!” Autry shouted as he startled Greta that was sleeping peacefully on the bed
Greta sluggishly opened her eyes, staring at Autry
“Call your parents right now! they have to rescue your sister, Ximena is in danger,” Autry yelled
Greta couldn’t understand him clearly but hearing that Ximena was in danger, she speedily sat up and picked her phone to call her parents and Freda.

Freda was the first person to arrive at Eyal Banks Residence, she panicked when she received a call from Greta that her friend was in danger, she drove recklessly not minding the consequences of her action
Freda hurried to her friend’s room and met Ximena on the floor in the pool of blood, gasping for air
Freda screamed in horror, she pulled Ximena’s dress up and gasped
“miscarriage” Freda murmured, tears rolling down her cheeks
Theodore and Aleta also arrived and couldn’t even recognized their daughter anymore
“Jesus!” Aleta shouted
She was frightened and shaking all over, but she gathered her breathe, kneeling down beside Ximena
“Who did this to you” Aleta managed to asked
“E….e.. …….Eyal,” Ximena struggled with her words
Theodore carried his daughter in his arms to take her to the hospital but it was too late, Ximena breathed her last breath in her father’s arms.
