✨AALIYAH POV✨
“May this Teddy comfort you and remind you that I am always there for you! Let this gentle giant be in your room” Jadiel spoke very softly as he gave me a cuddly, plush teddy bear which undoubtedly brought a huge, joyful smile to my face, feeling elated and delight.
Jadiel was truly a kind person. Generous, warm, friendly, helpful, and who think of other people’s feelings.
“Thank you very much” I sent a text message to him
He nodded and walked into the dining area of the house, where Ric sat in his chair, reclining.
I moved toward to the dining room, avoiding Ric’s face as I walked past him. Jadiel looked up and smiled
“I’m getting bored doing the same thing every day. Take me away from here, Ric is treating me badly” I sent another text message to Jadiel
Jadiel showed the text message to Ric and he regarded me reflectively for a moment longer, probably trying to know my feelings by the look on my face, and then walked away without saying a word.
Jadiel’s concerned gaze ran over my face. I searched his eyes for some indication of comprehension, eventually finding it only in his voice
“I would have love to take you out but it’s not safe” he told me and my nod was hesitant
“Come over here” Ric spoke up after a while
I looked fixedly at Jadiel as if to seek permission to go and I got the go-ahead signal from him, then I walked away into the living room
“Do you want to go out?” Ric asked. At my nod he sighed, leaning back in his seat, deep in thought for a few minutes
“Jadiel will take you out and Kohen will accompany you everywhere” Ric sobered and stared down at his hands, his expression was a mixture of solemn and confusion.
Jadiel shoved his hands in his pockets, he stood gazing at Ric, then quizzed
“Are you sure?” trying to confirm if it was a good idea
“Yes, she should wear a mask” Ric answered
“oh very well then, let’s go” Jadiel uttered. We walked toward the parking lot, holding hands with Jadiel
As Jadiel drove, I sat in the back seat, enjoying the beautiful view of the city and the sunset through the bulletproof window.
Riding horses on the beach was extremely entertaining, it put a smile back on my face. It was beautiful, has strong legs with a long tail and ran very fast. I seemed to enjoy horseback riding. I had so much fun hanging out with Jadiel
“We need to leave” Kohen announced
I was on the verge of tears as I gave him a sour look
“You are such a bambina” Kohen teased, making fun of me. He unlocked the doors, and climbed into the driver seat
Jadiel smiled warmly when he met my gaze, a twinkle of amusement deepening the amber color to brown. He helped me to the car where he slowly moved me onto the backseat and sat next to me, my head leaning back against the headrest

“How was your outing?” Ric asked when we returned to the house
“Perfectly cool, the weather is better for our outing today but I hope this outing will be a prelude to many more because this bambina seemed to enjoy it” Kohen replied and Ric gave a little chuckle.
“I’m taking my leave” Jadiel stated. He turned his head and kissed me on the cheek. After a few minutes of polite conversation with Ric, he took his leave.
Then I went upstairs to my room and marched to the bathroom. The hottest shower made me want to stay in the hot water forever, until I noticed that someone had entered the room.
I shut off the shower and wrung out my hair, my tired body was beginning to revive, then wrapped myself in the thick towel
Ric was hanging up the phone when I emerged from the bathroom, pink and sweet smelling. He dropped onto the plush guest bed, clad in a T-shirt and shorts
“So, feeling any more clear-headed after your shower?” He asked and I nodded my head
A heavy silence fell, he shrugged nonchalantly, but his eyes rested on me thoughtfully for a few moments before he glanced around the room and his gaze lingered on a picture of Jadiel on the wall.
I gently turned my body and moved toward the closet. I painted a beautiful portrait of Jadiel, it was completed after only three sittings. His portrait graces the wall of my room, hanging at an angle.
He moved his gaze down the wall and directly into my eyes. He stood up for a moment and reached me, sighed heavily and then spoke to me too quietly to hear.
“Follow me” he made an imperative command. Leaving my room immediately and I followed him
What I couldn’t figure out was why he brought me to his room. I was expecting his essential self kicked in but he took hold of my hand
For a second he looked confused, and then turned away. I seemed confused as well when he lay on his back gazing up at the ceiling. He motioned me to come, I obeyed the command, though I sat on the bed and stared at him, he pressed his teeth together tightly as he took my hand and drew me close to him
I lay on the bed beside him and he inhaled deeply, putting my head on his chest, a blanket covered my body
I had so many thoughts swirling in my head as I took my seat. It was as if he had read my mind
“Don’t put words in my mouth – or foolish thoughts in your head. … I have just wanted to help you because
you regularly have problems sleeping and I want it to get better by changing your sleeping habits” he gave me a hands-on-hips serious look.
