⚜RICHARD RESIDENCE⚜
Richard beamed at his daughter with undisguised admiration. His entire face filled with happiness as he watched Aaliyah. Her wedding dress had been delivered that day and she was checking it out.
He couldn’t thank God enough for His grace. The latter glory of his business was greater than the former
“Dad what do you think?” Aaliyah asked
“The dress is beautiful but you’re even more beautiful. To me you’re the most alluring daughter in the world” Richard muttered
To his great surprise, her eyes fixed on him, soon she burst into tears
“What’s the matter?” Richard asked.
“I miss Mum” Aaliyah replied, her voice was shaky and a little unclear as her lip began to quiver.
Richard stepped forward and hugged her, laying her head on his chest, he began comforting her.
⚜RIC RESIDENCE⚜
Jadiel looked askance at the ironed tuxedo on the bed. Ric turned to him and asked “what’s next?” He noticed the disapproving look on his face that quickly melted into a smile.
“What’s your opinion about this tux?” Jadiel inquired
“Tuxedo is considered attractive on a man when it looks very simple, don’t worry your pretty little head” Ric answered and smacked him on the side of the head.
Jadiel glared and muttered something before he brought out his phone. “I’ll phone you as soon as I get to the airport” He read Huxley’s text message
It was then that he thought to check the time and said to Ric. “Huxley will arrive at the airport in one hour’s time”
“Yeah! Kohen will pick him up” Ric mumbled
Ric and Ria came out with unique birthday celebration as they decided to get married on their 25th birthday which is known as the “silver jubilee”
“I miss my beaut” Ric murmured as he picked up his phone and made a video call. A few minutes later Aaliyah answered the phone
Ric couldn’t help raising his eyebrows at her when he looked at her tear-stained face, he felt compassion.
“Why are you crying?” Ric asked
“I couldn’t help but become emotional when I remembered that Mum won’t be present at my wedding” Aaliyah answered
Ric started saying soothing words of comfort to make her feel less worried and unhappy. In a couple of minutes, her worry faded with his comforting words.
The warmth between them is apparent over a video call as Aaliyah laughed heartily despite her mood at his joke. “Well, I don’t have a paid job but available to work with a certificate in cuddling, a diploma in caring and a degree in kissing. Do you have a job for me?”
Then Ric laughed with pleasure seeing a smile on her face. “I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you.” Ric professed his love for her
“I am so lucky to have you in my life.You are my favorite distraction.” Aaliyah expressed her mind
“Husbands-to-be” Kohen hailed Jadiel and Ric as he entered into the room and looked at Ric’s phone screen to see Aaliyah
“I miss you Aaliyah” Kohen said and blew her a kiss. Aaliyah responded and said. “I miss you, too”
Ric rolled his eyes, making a silly face at Kohen and he burst out into a fit of his broad, good-natured laughter. “Jealous husband” He teased Ric, grinning
“The plane will arrive at the airport soon, please pick Huxley up at the airport” Ric told Kohen
“Huxley is safe with me” Kohen muttered and left
