It was the day of the double wedding. All heads turned as soon as the brides and their fathers began walking down the aisle in a pure white gown
The beautiful cathedral had a wide center aisle that leads to the altar. After the priest delivered a passionate sermon, they exchanged vows and everyone present at the wedding ceremony walked up to the front to congratulate the newly married couples.
“Best wishes for a fun-filled future together.” Richard said to Aaliyah as he hugged her so tight. At that point, she got emotional and began to cry
Richard kissed her forehead and patted her on the back.
“Congratulations daughter. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness” Alisa uttered. With her own handkerchief she wiped the tears from Aaliyah’s eyes
Mia stepped forward, she glanced at Aaliyah before bowing her head and added pleadingly, “I apologize for losing my temper”
Ric waited for Aaliyah to turn her face back to him and immediately she did, he
bent down and his warm lips claimed hers in a kiss. He grabbed her hips and sucked her lips gently, smiling as she drew a deep breath in response to the wave of heat she felt flushing through her
“I want to enjoy being with you before babies and family life take over. So the first two years of our marriage, we are not having any child” Ric whispered in her ear and Aaliyah nodded
⚜TEN MONTHS LATER⚜
Ric was lying on the bed, he slid over to cuddle close to his wife but he couldn’t see her on the bed. He sat up, lifted the blanket and looked around. Then he arched a dark brow “Beaut?”
When he didn’t hear anything, he got out of the bed with his built body, shirtless, in black briefs. He walked to the bathroom and opened the door to see Aaliyah standing there, her panties bunched around her ankles. She was looking disheveled and a bit sweaty.
“You are not feeling well?” Ric inquired as he moved closer to her to check her body temperature
Aaliyah shook her head and burst into tears “You’re shivering” Ric said. He wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer, running his hands up and down her waist
“I’m sorry” Aaliyah murmured
“I don’t understand” Ric squint his eyes and pushed his eyebrows together then stared a while at her
“I… I’m….” Aaliyah swallowed hard and said, “Ric I have something to tell you.” She looked nervous and uncomfortable as she gave a little whimper
“I’m all ears, tell me about it” Ric spoke to her softly, encouraging her to close her eyes and relax.
When Ric saw that she won’t stop crying “Go on, have a good cry” he said, stroking her hair
After a while, they stumbled into the bedroom, sitting on the edge of the bed, he pulled her into his lap, brushing one black lock from her face. He tucked his face into the crook of her neck and whispered “Now are you ready to talk like adult?” And she nodded
“I’m pregnant” She murmured inaudibly to herself
“I can’t hear you Mrs Ric Nolan, speak up!” Ric uttered
“I’m pregnant” She said in a low voice, burying her face in his chest
When she didn’t get her period as expected, she thought it was either late period, skipping a cycle, or a missed period. So she waited at first and gave it a few days to make sure she didn’t miscalculate or do something to mix up the dates.
More than two months still her period did not come, she began to worry. She called Ria on the telephone and she recommended a pregnancy test for Aaliyah to confirm whether she was pregnant.
Ric chuckled to himself as he opened her clenched fist and saw two positive pregnancy tests.
“Who is responsible for it?” Ric asked. She lifted her head and gazed up into his eyes.
“You” She murmured
Ric fixed his wife with a steady gaze and spoke quietly but firmly. “We agreed to start a family and conceive our first child after two years of our marriage but if the plan fails I should be hold responsible not you. You cry so much and I hate to see you cry. I love you and I will love you until I breathe my last breath, you will always be my favorite. I’m happy knowing that life is growing inside you. Pregnancy isn’t always easy but I will be there for you, watching your belly grow, hearing our baby’s heartbeat for the first time and even feeling those little kicks.”
Aaliyah nodded and mouthed “thank you” wiping the tears from her eyes.
“Hey, somebody needs a hug!” Ric uttered aloud. Aaliyah smiled as Ric hugged her sensuously and his hands lingered on her breast and ass
A phone call interrupted thier further foreplay and it was Jadiel that called Ric on his mobile to tell him he had good news for him
“My wife delivered a baby girl!” Jadiel blurted out at the other end of the phone
Aaliyah screamed with excitement and shouted “congratulations” She jumped up, darting for the bathroom with a hand over her mouth.
