“How can you be so useless, what is your work in this house when you can’t even protect everyone in the house” I yelled at the guards
I’d searched for Aaliyah for four hours, I came back home and went to her room to meet the room empty.The guards were even useless
telling me they didn’t see her
“Fools! Did she disappeared? Answer me, did she? You know what, if you don’t find her consider yourself fired” I shouted again, scattering my hair. I was already going crazy
“Rhoda please forgive me, I shouldn’t have stayed long outside” I mumbled, then stormed away, clearly disappointed.
I didn’t meet Gerald at home, only God knows where he went. I climbed the stairs and entered Malvin’s room, with a sternly dignified manner. My chagrined gaze immediately seeking my son. He opened the door and emerged from the bathroom, he glanced up and turned to me with wide eyes
“Aaliyah is missing” I said
“What did you mean by that?You’re joking!” Malvin uttered. Suggesting it was so strange or silly that he couldn’t believe that I was serious
“THIS IS NO JOKING MATTER is a serious matter. You have to use location tracking technology and track her phone’s location” I stated
For a moment he looked confused and swiftly picked up his phone and car keys
“Mum let’s go” He muttered and rushed out of the house
I was surprised to see how Malvin cared deeply about Aaliyah maybe because he genuinely liked her.
Forty-five minutes later, we got to the location, we stepped out of the car and Melvin entered Aaliyah’s phone number to track her mobile phone. A few minutes later, he saw her phone on the floor beside the road and he picked it up
“Mum, I think Aaliyah has been kidnapped” Melvin spoke up
“Kidnapped?” I raised my eyebrows
“What’s her phone doing here while she’s missing” Melvin talked again
So I thought of asking few individuals around just in case they witnessed any incident. Then we headed to the supermarket near the place and we entered
“Good evening madam” the young lady smiled and I returned the smile
“Hello dear, please do you by any chance see my daughter around. She has a long black hair, the same height like mine and she wore a black two pieces cloth” I stated
“I don’t think I saw anyone like that but there was an accident this evening” she answered
“Accident! Oh no” Melvin half-yelled. His face looked shocked and horrified
“Mum what do we intend to do now?” He asked
It was 11pm, so I suggested we go home and start checking all the hospitals in Miami to look for her the next day.
“Rhoda please protect your daughter wherever she is” I started thinking aloud
I decided to check her phone and went through her messages, then I saw “He wants to kill me” in her phone Draft
“Who wants to kill the innocent girl, could it be the person that killed her parents is after her life? Did she know the person that killed her parents? Is the murderer in this house? Is that the reason why she ran away?” Ahhhh! I was already losing control of myself
I can’t have a murderer in my house, I have to involve Gerald in this
