I sat up to open my bible that night. I decided to study my bible before going to bed. I had almost spent the whole day sleeping. I have never been this sick before. Every part of my body was just giving me pain.
Sometimes I was relieved, but after a while, I would be in pains again. I had to limp in order to walk. Sometimes, I felt so tired and weak.
As I sat down to read, my bones ached. I winced in pain and groaned.
“Sorry dear!” Susan said watching me from where she sat on the bed operating her phone.
“Thank you!’
“Hope your body is not disturbing you?”
“Just a little!”
“I’m sorry about that!”
“And it as if they planned me! I don’t know how I got myself into this mess! I have to pray, yet everything around me is just too unbearable for me. Everything around me is working towards stopping me from praying.
“What happened?”
“I’m having cramps right now! It’s just making life unbearable for me!”
“Wow! This is too much!”
“I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep tonight! The last time I was in my circle, I was vomiting. I can’t believe all this happened when it was close to the my period!” I said as tears flowed down my cheeks.
I was in serious pains right now! What was on mind now is the queen and her new demonic squad they had sent after me. I needed to rise up and pray. But how would I be able to pray when my monthly sickness is back?
Haa! I was born a failure! I can’t believe I’m going to fail God again. I was ready to fight, but my body was too weak to march into spiritual combat.
Who will deliver me now?
“Stop crying!” Susan said as she stood beside me and leaned my head on her tommy.
“It’s going to be alright!”
“The pains are just too unbearable!”
“I know! Please be strong! No one will help you bear it! Just be strong! You can make it!”
I gasped and placed a hand on my lower abdomen.
“When did it start?”
“This night!” I replied.
“I’m sorry! Come! Try and lie down a bit!” She said and made to pull me long with her, but I resisted.
“I can’t! It won’t do me any good. I’ll still be in pains!”
“Jesus! Help us here!” Susan said and went silent for a while.
“Should I call mummy?”
“No! Mummy is busy! I don’t want to border her with my troubles this evening. She has gone through a lot for me today. Just get me Ella!”
“Okay!” She said and left.
My phone began to ring as soon as she left. I checked to see who it was. It was an unknown number.
“Haaa! They are dialing my number! Jesus have mercy on me!” I said and dropped the phone.
It continued ringing till it went off. The ringing tone came up again in a few seconds but I wasn’t ready to answer the phone call from the queen of the lesbians.
The door opened and Ella accompanied by Susan, walked in.
“Juliet! How are you feeling?”
“I don’t know! I’m in pains right now!”
“I’m sorry! Susan came to call me that you needed help! I had to leave what I was doing to come to your rescue! Hope you’re saved now? Cause if you’re not! I’m going to get the queen and smash her head!”
A smile managed to appear on my face. I’m glad someone was here to cheer me up.
“But have you talked to God about it?” She asked.
“It’s the usual! That’s how it usually happens to me every month. I have prayed and prayed but it seems as if God is only interested in making my circle painful!”
“No don’t say that! You don’t know the privileges you get to enjoy as a child of God! Haa! This is not what a princess of the father of health should experience.
This is not supposed to be so! In the beginning it was not so! Who had made us to believe that every month we must fall sick and struggle with pain?
Satan had made it a normal thing to hold on to. I know of one of my classmates who uses cramps as a means of getting sympathy from her boyfriend. She even uses it to get him to give her money. Rubbish!
What is the meaning of that? Who had made us to believe that the daughters of Zion! The Jesus slay Queens are meant to be monthly sicklers?
No! The bible says in Isaiah 53:5. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Jesus was also punished so we can live in complete good health. Who says we must vomit because we are in our monthly circle? Who says we must pass through severe pains because we are having our monthly flow?
How did Satan decieve us to this point? Didn’t Jesus say that it was finished on the cross? So who is responsible for this nonsense we are experiencing?
No! Something must be corrected! Susan get me your bible! I need to show you something!
They used to say that healing is the children’s bread! Am I correct?”
“Yes we both chorused!”
“But so you know there is nothing like that in the bible?”
We both stared at each other, unable to answer the question. Susan handed the bible to her and she opened it.
“I’m reading from Matthew 15:21.
Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
Verse 22. And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
Verse 23. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
Verse 24. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Verse 25. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
Verse 26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
Verse 27. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
Verse 28. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
This scripture was what led to the popular Christian proverb that healing is the children’s bread!
The Canaanite woman came to plead with Jesus to come and cast out the demon that had possessed her daughter. But Jesus made the woman to understand that God did not send him to the nations. He was sent to the nation of Israel alone.
His physical ministry was limited to the geographical location of Israel. Anything apart from that would be trespassing! So madam, I am so sorry I cannot attend to you.
But you know one thing about many Christians?”
“No!” We both chorused.
“Just tell them no! Just delay the answer to their prayers a little bit! Just tell them to hold on a bit. That’s it. Do you know the next thing you’ll start hearing?
I prayed and prayed, still God no gree answer my prayers. I’m not going through waste my time praying again.
Haa! I pity that kind of Christian. When the bible says in the book of Isaiah 62:1. For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.
And in verse 6, it says. I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
Verse 7. And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
Give who no rest?”
“God!” We both chorused.
“We should tell God we are tired of asking, right?”
“No!”
“Did the bible say we should pray and when we don’t see the answer, we should stop praying and go and sleep, right?”
“No!”
“What did it say we should do?”
“We should not allow God to rest!”
“Beautiful! And Juliet I’m shocked to see you’re the one crying. You were the one who believed God’s word to the last minute. Even when you were stabbed with a knife you smiled and told God that you refuse to die. God honoured that word and you’re here, still breathing.
What happened to that radical faith? Oh! Is this situation on ground right now too difficult for God? Oh! You mean saving your life from the blade of death was more easier than taking away menstrual cramps?
No wonder why the bible says in Psalms 78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
Haaa! We have limited God! We have made him look so powerless by our lack of faith and resilience in prayers till we get our answers.
Daniel prayed to God for 21 days. Fasting and praying till a mighty angel appeared. The Angel told Daniel that on the day one of the fasting and prayer program, God had already released him.
But a demon called the prince of Persia, withstood the angel and stopped him from getting to Daniel for good 21 days. But the consistent prayers of Daniel made God send another angel which was Angel Michael. And through his help, the angel was able to cross the spiritual territory of Persia and appear before Daniel.
But today! You pray and you didn’t get the answer, I no dey pray again. I don tire! When your bible says don’t allow God to rest.
Many of you know how you collected stuffs from your daddy when you were little. You disturb daddy! Disturb and disturb till daddy will say, ‘Please come and take, you’re disturbing me.’ But when it comes to God, we don’t apply the same method.
Juliet, I know of mummies in the faith who gave birth to their babies without stress. The bible says that the woman shall be saved in childbirth. That means Jesus also paid the price for an easy and less painful child birth.
Ordinary monthly flow is killing us, how much more giving birth to children. Then it will be C.S. na! Operation! If ordinary monthly flow is so painful what will happen to child birth?
Jesus paid for all these things. But look at what the bible had to say in Deuteronomy 2:24. Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
The message translation of that scripture says in verse 24. On your feet now. Get started. Cross the Brook Arnon. Look: Here’s Sihon the Amorite king of Heshbon and his land. I’m handing it over to you – it’s all yours. Go ahead take it. Go to war with him.
Go to war! Go and collect what is rightfully yours. Claim it my faith and declare it by the words of mouth. Command that demon of menstrual cramps to get lost.
Jesus paid it all! By his stripes I am healed! I reject this cramps in the mighty name of Jesus! You cramps! Hear the word of the Lord! The bible says, wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
So I command you to bow! In the name of Jesus!”

This scripture got me angry! This woman was not a child of Abraham. But her faith was so powerful that God broke protocols.
The children are eating good health while the sinners are eating the crumbs that fall from our mouths and they’re receiving healing.
So how come the children who are supposed to enjoy good health are living is sickness.
Sinners are eating the crumps and are receiving healing. We that are eating good health as bread how come ordinary monthly flow has turned to vomiting and swallowing tablets?
Get angry! Tell that demon oppressing you with cramps to get lost!
