The Jesus Slay Queens: Episode 7

“Juliet you mean that was what you saw this afternoon?” Mummy asked.

“Yes ma!” I said panic striken.

I’m sorry I didn’t tell you, the daddy of the house returned this evening. The girls were not yet back. It was just me and the parents alone.

Her husband was sitting beside her and from the looks on their faces, I could tell they were worried by the revelation I had.

“Mummy! Please help me tell Jesus to send the devil away from me. Tell him I will do what he wants me to do. He should not allow the devil come close to me”, I pleaded in tears.

Mummy smiled and shook her head.

“So what does God want you to do?” She asked.

“He wants me to build my prayer life, but I refused. He wants me to be baptized in the Holy Ghost, but I’m too busy to give him my complete attention. I don’t know what is actually wrong with me. I know what I’m supposed to do, but I’ll never do it. I’m just too stubborn to him.

I’m in a house where everyone is expecting me to catch the fire. But I’m as cold and empty as anything. Please mummy! I know God is very angry with me. So please! Plead with him on my behalf. Tell him to forgive me and send the devil away from me”.

“Juliet! He’s counting on you to actually dismiss the devil by rising up in the place of prayers. You’re actually the one who’s going to deliver yourself from the hands of the enemy by fighting in the place of prayers”, her husband answered.

“But daddy, I have a question”.

“Go ahead”.

“Sheybi they use to say if God wants to use you and you tell him you’re not interested, he’ll go and look for someone else? Why is my case different? Why is it that God is not willing to go away from me and allow me do whatever I want?”

“Look at the rubbish you’re asking! Have you asked Jonah what happened to him before he bowed to God and said yes I will do what you want me to do? Oh! You think you can arrive the earth and start opening your small mouth to dictate for him how to live the life he gave you?

You have not seen anything yet. The truth is yes! God can find a replacement for you if you choose to accept his destiny upon your life. But there are two types of destiny on earth.

Number one is the destiny of assignments. The destiny of assignment is the type of destiny where a person is sent to fulfill a mandate, a mission, a goal. This is the smallest form of destiny. These are the kind of people who can reject God’s will and God would leave them to go and look for a replacement for them. Theirs is just an assignment.

The second kind of destiny is the category you fall in which is the destiny of covenant. You see this category. What you will become had been sealed, decided and enforced before your birth. This kind of people do not get to chose who they want to be.

They meet their divine mandate as soon as they arrive the earth realm. No matter how stubborn they want to be, the covenant upon their head is speaking.

These people can be prostitutes sef. They can rebel against God to the extent of becoming armed robbers. Once the covenant upon their head cries out to God. God is compelled to go after that armed robber that prostitute or that smoker and pull him out of the grip of the Devil.

The only tragedy that rebellion would do is that it would create a lot of severe damage. Satan would succeed in putting you through a lot of suffering and struggle. So many losses that could have been avoided by simply saying yes to the will of God. Satan would have killed, stolen and destroyed and succeeded in wasting so much, that all we would do is to spend a lifetime of recovering all what the devil had stolen from us.

That’s what happened with the children of Israel. They had a destiny. Their destiny was to possess the promised land and drive out the giants that inhabited the place.

But they said the giants were too much for them. They said they were like grasshoppers in the sight of those giants. They went further to campaign for a new leader who would carry them back to Egypt. They picked up stones and began to stone God’s servants. They rebelled against God and against his will for their lives.

But they were destined by a covenant. That’s the reason why, no matter how the children of Israel misbehave, God will only punish them and later come back to reconcile with them. They had a covenant upon their head. No matter how they claim they don’t want to serve God, they find themselves being forced to serve him.

It’s a covenant destiny. That’s why when that generation of Israelites refused to fulfill their destiny, God had to wait for the next generation. That’s what rebellion against God’s divine mandate for your life can bring. You’re forced to see time waste and your children will be the ones to continue from where you stopped.

Now there’s also an example of a destiny of assignment. This was the destiny of King Saul. Now the children of Israel came to Samuel to ask for a King. The fact that they asked for a King was not the main issue.

The issue was that according to divine prophecy by the mouth of Jacob, when he blessed his twelve sons on his death bed. He pronounced that the sceptre shall not depart from Judah until Shiloh comes. Shiloh there was referring to Jesus Christ.

That means that until Jesus was born, Judah will continue to rule over Israel as king. The issue was this. Judah was not ready to become king at that time when they were asking for a King.

Why? Because of the sin of Judah. Do you remember Judah slept with his daughter-in-law and got her pregnant with twins?”

I was shocked. You mean all these were coming from the same bible I called a boring book?

“Their names were Pharez and Zerah. Now Moses placed a curse on whosoever commits incest with their relatives. That the curse would remain on them unto the 10th generation of that family.

Now if you check the generation of David, you’ll see the whole generation there.

Open to the book of Ruth chapter 4 verse 18″.

I quickly brought out my phone and opened my bible app.

“Ruth 4:18. Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,

Verse 19 And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,

Verse 20. And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,

Verse 21. And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,

Verse 22. And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David”.

“Good! Now let’s count. Judah, Pharez, Hezron, Ram, Amminadab, Nahshon, Salmon, Boaz, Obed, Jesse. How many generations are there?”

“Ten generations! Wow!” I said in awe.

“David was the eleventh generation of Judah. But David was still a boy by that time. God had to arrange for someone because the people were asking for a King”.

“Mummy! Are you saying Saul was not supposed to be King in the first place?” I asked with those curious eyes.

“You can say that. But God planned to establish his kingdom forever, but he failed the test. Open to 1 Samuel 13:8”.

I quickly opened my bible app and found the place.

“And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

Verse 9. And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

Verse 10. And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. Verse 11. And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

Verse 12. Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

Verse 13. And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

Verse 14. But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee”.

Wow! Is this the same bible I have been reading?

“Saul would have been King forever. But the test he failed was what made God to go back to the covenant destiny. That’s why it’s not good to compromise as a christian. You don’t know what you might be loosing by that simple act of I’ll commit the sin and repent later. Saul didn’t know he was trading his position and destiny for that compromise he committed.

That’s the reason why even when Samuel was mourning for Saul. God told him to stop and go ahead to anoint David.

And if you read the bible very well, God told David that none of his descendants will be missing as king in Israel. As long as there’s a son of David in Israel, they will be the king. And if you noticed, even when Solomon broke the covenant and worshiped the idols. Instead of God to break his promises, he divided the kingdom of Israel into two.

Why? Because it was the destiny of the sons of David to be King. So once you’re a son of David, you must be King whether you like it or not.

That’s the kind of destiny resting on the head of many people today. The painful thing is that many of them are just wasting precious time.

A journey of forty days had turned into a journey of forty years. God promised Abraham that his descendants would be slaves in the land of Egypt for 400 years. But when they received freedom, it was 430 years. Who caused that delay? Who allowed the extra 30 years?

Juliet, you said the angel was saying that you’re supposed to cast out demons at the age of 14. You’re 16 right now and demons are still possessing people. The angel said you’re supposed to bring deliverance to the Broadway academy. He also said that by now, you ought to be baptized in the Holy Ghost.

But here you are wasting precious time. You better get on your knees to ask God for mercy. He might allow the devil touch the most precious thing in your life”.

“My father! The only one I had left! God allowed Satan touch the children of Job. Ha! God have mercy!” I went down on my knees and began to pray.

To be continued……..

A lot has been going bad and will continue to go bad untill you rise up and pick up that spiritual life and build it.

A man of God today once said that as a young man, he never took his spiritual life seriously. Several times God was calling him to build it but he kept ignoring untill Satan took a lot of advantage.

His only brother fell sick and died. He knew it was because he didn’t have the relationship with God to bargain his brother’s life and demand for it. He was an unserious fellow.

But when he built his spiritual life and Satan came for his sister’s son, he was able to command the evil spirit and it obeyed.

You’re a deliverer to your family. You’re the last hope they have left. Your family is counting on you. Your generation is counting on you!

The earnest expectations of creation awaiteth the manifestation of the sons of God.

Rise up and stop wasting time! Satan has had enough!
