I laid on the bed in tears.
Ella entered the room and dropped my back pack on the bed.
“Romeo and Ope brought this here. They said you left school earlier than usual. They said you really had a bad day today. And they would love to say hi to you before leaving!”
“Tell them I’m not in the mood to see anyone tonight. Tell them to leave and tell them that Fejiro is dead.”
“What?” You mean the Fejiro that was here yesterday is now dead? Haaa! Is that how fast humans die?”
I didn’t say anything.
She left the room and in a few minutes, I heard hurried footsteps. I turned to look when the door opened and Ope, along with Romeo and Ella rushed in.
They came into my privacy?
“Juliet what did you say happened?” Ope asked.
I looked at her with the new knowledge I had that she was now Fejiro’s replacement. I felt a string of pain in my heart. Fejiro is gone! It looked like a dream. I had not yet recovered from the fact that she gave out her virginity. Suddenly, she’s gone. I wished it was all a dream. I would suddenly wake up and you know, discover it was life’s biggest prank.
The way that Principal was about to kill me and mummy woke me up. That was awesome. I just wanted the same thing to repeat itself in this case.
And the worst part of it was that, I’m calling on the name of the Lord and there’s no response. That one is the shock I cannot wake up from.
All my life I have been told that whenever we call on God and ask him for mercy, he shows up immediately. I was just like, what is happening? I was calling upon God and nothing happened.
Fejiro died under my watch, I begged and begged God but my pleas fell on deaf ears. Haaaaa! Who will explain this mystery to me?
“Juliet is it true? Is it true that Fejiro is dead?” Ope asked.
I nodded in affirmation. I saw how the news shattered both of them.
“Broadway academy is a terrible place! I don’t think I will remain in this place again!” Ope said.
Haaaa! I quickly grabbed her hand and began to beg her. I cannot lose my number one team member.
Romeo was sad, but he was a man. Crying is girl’s stuff. He only bowed his head and expressed his sadness. But the crying, he allowed the ladies to do.
Honestly I was not getting any comfort out of everything that was going on here. I was just waiting for them to leave so I can ask Ella all the questions I wanted to ask.
I was grateful when they left. I gave them a promise that I would be in school the following day.
Soon they left and I was alone with Ella in the room.
“So is there something you want to tell me?” She asked.
“How did you know?”
“Daddy told me!”
“Which daddy?”
“Ask me that question again and I’ll slap you!”
“You mean the daddy that failed me when I needed him at the hospital?”
“You mean the daddy you failed when he needed you to stand in the place of prayers and interceed for Fejiro and prevent what happened from happening!”
“I know I failed! Yes! I agree I failed! But I said I was sorry! Wasn’t an apology enough? Why was he going to lay hands on that innocent girl and kill her just to get back at me?”
“Wow!” Ella smiled and clapped her hands.
“You are now God’s judge. Congratulations! It is completely obvious you have not learnt your lesson.”
“Ella! I am not God’s judge!”
“So what are you?”
“I am judging a….. I mean I am!”
“Go on! I’m all ears.”
“Why would God pick that innocent girl and kill her just to get back at me? I deserve to know why?”
“Then ask him!”
“He won’t answer me!”
“Why wouldn’t he answer you? Are you not his judge? You’re the one feeding and taking care of God. Without you, God cannot look after himself very well. He needs you to feed him and take care of him. You are very important to God that he needs to answer your every question.
Can you see how useless pride has made you look in the sight of God?”
I fell on my knees and burst into tears.
“Go on! Judge God! Wait lets even start the case. Afterall the bible says bring girth your strong reasons.
First, God told you to stand in the gap for Fejiro. You said no, that you wanted to sleep. No problem. Secondly, you said Fejiro was innocent. Was she truly innocent?
Can you see why the bible said do not judge? Just imagine how wrongly you judged the Almighty?
Was Fejiro innocent? Where you there when the Holy Ghost was begging her to stop when she was fornicating? Where you there when God was weeping because Fejiro broke the covenant and spiritual covering over her life.
The only thing that was protecting her from the reach of the enemy was her virginity. That’s the reason why Satan was fighting so hard to get her to break it. That was the last thing that would make the Holy Ghost to completely withdraw.
Remember Samson. He was sleeping with Philistine prostitutes, yet the Holy Ghost was still protecting him. He was sleeping with Delilah, yet the Holy Ghost did not leave him in the hands of the enemy. But the last thing that he would do that would make the Holy Ghost to abandon him completely was to shave his hair.
That was why Satan was fighting so hard to get him to reveal the secret. Samson was living in sin, but he was still under the spiritual covering of God. All Satan had to do was to keep pushing him further into sin until the last protection is removed. That was how the enemy was able to strike.
Will you blame God? Did God tell you to pray? Did God tell you to forgive her when she offended you? Did God tell you to take your spiritual life serious?”
So whose fault is it? Is it your fault or God’s fault?”
“But after everything at the hospital, I told God I was sorry, but he has refused to answer me.”
“Go and arrest him! Tell him he’s under arrest for refusing to have your time!”
“Ella!” I called in anger.
“Shut up!” She shouted.
Isaiah 1:10. Hear the word of the LORD, ye rulers of Sodom; give ear unto the law of our God, ye people of Gomorrah.
Verse 11. To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am tired of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
Verse 12. When ye come to appear before me, who hath required this at your hand, to tread my courts?
Verse 13. Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Verse 14. Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth: they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
Verse 15. And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you: yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of blood.”
I broke down in tears and fell on my knees.
“But I said I’m sorry!”
“Juliet stop it! Stop claiming right! Does god really deserve to give you a listening ear? Come to Jesus with a broken and contrite spirit. Don’t come to him with your criticisms. Come like the prodigal son.
The prodigal son said, ‘Father! I have sinned against heaven and I am no longer qualified to be called your son. Please take me as one of your hired servants.’
Stop claiming right to anything. God can dump you abd behave as if you don’t exist and there’s nothing you can do about it. After all you told him to get lost! He is now lost to you. Go and look for him.
You will find me when you seek me with all of your heart. That’s what the bible says. Go and look for him with all your heart. Come to him in sincerity. You told him that you are ready for the worst God has to offer. So I guess you have serious apologies to make.”
She turned and made to leave, but I rushed and grabbed her hand.
“Please help me!” I said weeping.
“Help me tell him I’m sorry! Please! He doesn’t want to hear my voice! He’s more than angry with me!”
“Juliet! He’s your father! But you disowned him. Now you have to do the pleading yourself. I cannot help you in this matter. Go before him in humility and repentance and pledge your allegiance to him.”
“Ha! Please! That song you usually sing for him. Please come and help me sing it to him again. Please!” I pleaded as if I was going to die if she refused.
She bowed her head and went silent for a while.
“🎵Where🎵” She made to sing and paused immediately.
“What happened?”
“He said I should keep quiet!”
“Haaaa! Ella please!”
“I cannot do anything outside his instructions!”
“Please help me and beg God! Please! I’m ready to change my ways! Ever since I left Jesus, my tears have not left my face. I have not known peace of mind for days. I’m living in Hell. I need Jesus! I can’t continue like this.
I want to die, but I cannot. If I kill myself, I’m heading straight to hell. I mean the real Hell! There’ll be no second chance for me anymore! I will never be able to see Fejiro again. I will be lost forever and ever and ever and ever.
Haaaa! I cannot do that to myself. I want Jesus back. I want the Holy Ghost back in my life. I’m tired of everything. I’m tired of proving stubborn.
Suddenly I felt goose bumps all over my body. I remembered this was how I usually felt whenever I was in a meeting and the spirit of God was strongly announcing his presence in that meeting. Sometimes I usually feel a hot burning sensations in my body or a pricking in my right or left ear.
Immediately I felt this way, I laid prostate on the floor. I knew I had hit the rock. I was now about to get a response from the King that owes no man an explanation. He’s a king who has the power to plant and to uproot. To raise up and to cast down.
I was seriously humbled. I have finally discovered that all my life I have been proud, arrogant and stubborn. Now it was clear to me that God was not a priority in my life. He was one of those interesting fellows I just felt I could hang out with.
Now I saw my pride. I thought I could just open my mouth and yell at him and he will be obligated to respond. Now I knew it was mercy to made him to have my time. Left alone, he is too big to have me in mind in the first place.
I was the one who needed Jesus, not him. He had everything he needs. He only wants me, not need. Need is a basic necessity.
But the bible says in Revelation 4:11. Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
I was created for pleasure. That’s serious. I was not created out of necessity. I was created because God wanted to have fun. Oh my goodness!
All things! All things, including myself, were created for the pleasures of Jesus. Wow!
And here I was judging God!
“Daddy from the depths of my heart, I say to you, I am sorry!”
Soon, I heard Ella singing that song I was begging her to sing.
“🎵Where are you my darling darling oooo. Your baby is calling on you ooo🎵”
“JULIET ANDERSON!” Came that voice I had not heard from in days that looked like eternity.
To be continued………
Romans 2:1. Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself………
There are so many things that happen and immediately it does, we humans do what we know how to do best. Complain and blame.
“Adam why did you eat of the forbidden tree?”
Adam will never say, ‘Lord I’m sorry!’ Adam will be there busy claiming he was right.
The woman you gave to be with me. She’s the reason why I ate the forbidden fruit. There’s something in Pragmatics called the unsaid said.
What that means is, you didn’t say it, but when we think deeply about what you said, we get a deeper meaning out of what was spoken.
So if we think deeply on his statement, he was like. If you didn’t give me this woman, I wouldn’t have done it. That’s what blame is all about.
If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t have done it.
And the woman continued from where her husband stopped.
When things go bad, we would not remember how we were busy sleeping when the Holy Ghost was giving us dreams to warn us about what was about to happen. We won’t remember how he was whispering to us to pray and we didn’t take it serious.
We won’t remember when he was telling us to stop when we continued masturbating.
Now, we are asking him why?
Whose fault is it?
We would be looking into a lot more in the next episode. Watch out what happens next.
