“THE DEMONIC FIRE EXTINGUISHERS ARE A GROUP OF FORCES WHO SPECIALIZE IN ENSURING THE FIRE ON THE ALTAR OF EVERY BELIEVER GOES OUT.
THERE ARE PRINCIPLES THAT GUIDES THE CONSISTENCY OF SPIRIT FIRE SUSTAINABILITY. ONE OF THEM IS WHAT WE ARE GOING TO LOOK AT IN THE BOOK OF LEVITICUS 6:9.”
I quickly opened my bible and read.
“Command Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering: It is the burnt offering, because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it.
Verse 10. And the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen breeches shall he put upon his flesh, and take up the ashes which the fire hath consumed with the burnt offering on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.
Verse 11. And he shall put off his garments, and put on other garments, and carry forth the ashes without the camp unto a clean place.
Verse 12. And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out: and the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order upon it; and he shall burn thereon the fat of the peace offerings.
Verse 13. The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out.”
“NOW THAT IS THE PRINCIPLE OF SUSTAINABILITY. THAT IS THE SECRET TO KEEPING YOUR SPIRITUAL FIRE AND ALTAR ALIVE.
REMEMBER JULIET. I HAVE ONCE TOLD YOU THE PATTERN TO MAINTAINING THE SPIRITUAL ALTAR. OPEN TO JOSHUA 1:8.”
I quickly opened to the passage and read. I was feeling the surge of grace in my spirit.
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
“A BALANCED FIREY SPIRITUAL ALTAR MUST RECEIVE DOUBLE CHECK UP ON A DAILY BASIS. MORNING AND EVENING. YOU MUST REKINDLE THE FIRE ON A DAILY BASIS. IN THE MORNING, YOU STUDY YOUR BIBLE AND PRAY. IN THE EVENING, YOU COME BACK AND STUDY AND PRAY BEFORE GOING TO BED. MORNING AND EVENING, DAY AND NIGHT. THAT’S A BALANCED FIREY SPIRITUAL ALTAR.
IF YOU ONLY VISIT YOUR BIBLE ONCE IN A DAY, YOU’RE LAYING A WRONG FOUNDATION.”
“Daddy, I have a question!”
“ASK YOUR QUESTION!”
“What if I’m a banker or a student in the university, whatever I may be. I went out in the morning after studying and praying. Then I come back late in the night, tired and exhausted. Do you still expect me to open bible and read in such tiredness?”
“THAT’S A GOOD QUESTION. NOW IF YOU COME BACK FROM LECTURES AS A STUDENT OR YOU COME BACK FROM WORK AS A WORKER. DO YOU TELL YOURSELF I AM TOO TIRED TO EAT DINNER?”
“Haaaa! Daddy! You know dinner is very important to us. We cannot go to bed on an empty stomach.”
“SO WHY WILL YOU GO TO BED ON A SPIRITUAL EMPTY STOMACH?”
“Wow!”
“ONE OF THE ERRORS OF THIS GENERATION IS THAT WE ARE LOSING DISCIPLINE. IT IS GRADUALLY SLIPPING OUT OF OUR LIVES. WE WILL SAY GOD UNDERSTANDS, GO AND SLEEP,. HE KNOWS YOU’RE TIRED. I CANNOT KILL MYSELF. YES! I KNOW YOU’RE TIRED, BUT WHY CAN’T WE SAY THE SAME TO OUR STOMACH AND GO TO BED WITHOUT EATING?”
“Daddy let me tell you the reason why! It’s because, we so much love our flesh. We pamper our flesh so much. We don’t allow it to go through anything strenuous. And it’s very sad to say this. We don’t believe our spiritual life is that important to us.
We can sacrifice time to prepare indomie and eat. But to be honest, we don’t believe that our spiritual lives is that serious. We only give it the attention it needs when it is convenient for us!”
“YOU HAVE ANSWERED RIGHT. BUT ANOTHER THING THAT IS DYING IN THE BODY OF CHRIST IS THAT MANY CHRISTIANS TODAY ARE CIVILIANS AND NOT SOLDIERS. THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO LIVE AN EASY LIFE. THEY HAVE CHOSEN TO DO WHAT IS EASY IN THE BIBLE AND DISOBEY THE DIFFICULT STUFF.
ALL THAT IS IN THEIR HEART IS, ‘IF THIS THING BECOMES TOO MUCH, I’LL NOT KILL MYSELF OVER IT.’
JULIET, THIS IS WHAT WE CALL THE AVERAGE CHRISTIAN. THIS IS THE CHRISTIAN THAT DOES NOT TRUST GOD ENOUGH TO GIVE HIM HIS ALL. THEY ONLY GIVE HIM THE PART OF THEIR LIVES THEY ARE COMFORTABLE WITH GIVING AND WITHDRAW THE REST.
SO DO YOU UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLE OF SPIRITUAL SUSTAINABILITY?”
“Yes! Attend to your spiritual altar twice in a day. The fire on the altar needs to be taken care of and it will take you adding wood to it on a daily basis. The wood represents the word and prayers.”
“BEAUTIFUL! IF YOU CAN BE VERY CAREFUL ENOUGH AS TO MAKE THIS A HABIT, YOU’LL ALWAYS BE ON FIRE FOR GOD!”
“That’s wonderful! I will keep that in mind,” I replied as I wrote them down.
“So about the demonic fire extinguishers?”
“YES! I GUESS YOU ALREADY HAVE AN IDEA TO WHAT THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY DO. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR PUTTING OUT THE FIRE ON THE ALTAR OF A BELIEVER. THEIR JOB IS TO EXTINGUISH YOUR SPIRITUAL FIRE AND MAKE SURE THEY STOP YOUR CONSISTENCY IN YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE.
THE QUESTION IS…..”
“How do they attack and achieve this?” I asked.
“EXACTLY! NOW THERE ARE THREE WAYS THEY ATTACK. TWO ARE PRIMARY, BUT THE LAST IS WHERE THE SNIPERS OPERATE.
NUMBER ONE! THEY MANIPULATE YOUR EMOTIONS AND PHYSICAL BODY. THAT IS NUMBER ONE.
HOW DO THEY ACHIEVE THIS? THEY MANIPULATE YOU FEELING AND GET YOU TO FEEL IN A CERTAIN WAY. FOR EXAMPLE, WHEN YOU WAKE UP TO PRAY, THEY ARE THE ONES THAT WILL MANIPULATE YOUR BODY TO FEEL TIRED, UNINTERESTED AND MORE WILLING TO SLEEP THAN TO PRAY.
WHENEVER YOU WAKE UP AND YOU WANT TO PRAY AND ALL YOU FEEL IS TIREDNESS, THEY’RE AT WORK? HOW DO YOU OVERCOME SUCH AN ATTACK?
NUMBER ONE IS DISCIPLINE. THAT’S THE REASON WHY, MANY CHRISTIANS CANNOT EXPERIENCE CONSISTENCY IN THEIR SPIRITUAL LIVES. DISCIPLINE IS SOMETHING YOU DO CONTINUOUSLY IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE A CERTAIN GOAL. IT IS SOMETHING YOU DON’T BACK OUT ON OR QUIT.
MANY CHRISTIANS ARE NOT JUST DISCIPLINED ENOUGH TO ATTEND TO THEIR SPIRITUAL LIVES. THEY SERIOUSLY WANT MAGIC TO HAPPEN. SOMETHING THAT WOULD SUDDENLY DRAG THEM TO THE PLACE OF PRAYERS, OPEN THEIR MOUTHS AND CAUSE THEM TO START PRAYING AUTOMATICALLY.
SO WHEN THESE POWERS WANT TO OPERATE, THEY ALREADY KNOW THAT FOR YOU TO REMAIN ON FIRE, YOU MUST KEEP THE FLAMES, BY ATTENDING TO THE ALTAR. THEY KNOW THAT ONCE YOU ARE CONSISTENT WITH THE ALTAR, YOUR FIRE WILL KEEP GETTING BIGGER AND BRIGHTER. THEIR ASSIGNMENT IS TO MAKE SURE IT DOESN’T HAPPEN.
SO THEY MANIPULATE YOUR FEELINGS, MAKING YOU FEEL TIRED AND MAKING YOU TO ASSUME YOU ARE TOO WEAK. THAT’S WHY THE BIBLE SAYS, LET THE WEAK SAY I AM STRONG AND LET THE POOR SAY I AM RICH.
YOU MUST LEARN TO FORCE YOUR BODY INTO THE PLACE OF PRAYER AND OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND BEGIN TO PRAY. NOBODY WILL DO IT FOR YOU. EVEN IF THE GRACE TO PRAY IS THERE, IF YOU DON’T DRAG IT TO THE PLACE OF PRAYER AND SAY I AM GOING TO PRAY WHETHER I FEEL LIKE PRAYING OR NOT. THE GRACE WILL BE THERE LOOKING AT YOU.
SEE, MANY OF US PAMPER OUT FLESH TOO MUCH. WE ALLOW IT TO CONTROL US. PAUL SAID, I BRING MY BODY UNDER CONTROL. I MAKE IT TO DO MY BIDDING AND MAKE IT MY SLAVE. IF YOU DON’T MAKE YOUR BODY YOUR SLAVE IT WILL BECOME YOUR MASTER.
SO IF YOU ARE LIKE ESTHER WHO WILL SAY, IF I PERISH I PERISH. I DON’T CARE WHETHER I FEEL LIKE DOING IT OR NOT, I MUST DO IT! THEN YOU HAVE OVERCOME THE FIRST ATTACK.
SEE PRAYER IS NOT FEELING. INFACT, SPIRITUALITY IS NOT FEELINGS. IF YOU HAVE OPPORTUNITY TO FEEL SPIRITUAL THINGS AROUND, THANK GOD FOR IT. BUT 50 PERCENT OF SPIRITUALITY IS COORDINATED BY DISCIPLINE AND DETERMINATION.
JESUS SAID IN JOHN 9:4. I MUST WORK THE WORKS OF HIM THAT SENT ME, WHILE IT IS DAY: THE NIGHT COMETH, WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK.
YOU NEED TO TAKE NOTE OF THE STATEMENT, I MUST. IT’S A STATEMENT OF DETERMINATION. IT’S A STATEMENT OF DISCIPLINE. WHETHER I FEEL LIKE DOING IT OR NOT, I MUST DO IT. WHETHER I’M TIRED OR NOT, I MUST.
ITS SO PAINFUL THAT MANY BELIEVERS TODAY ARE NOT SAYING THE SAME THING AS JESUS DID. THEY ONLY PRAY WHEN IT IS CONVENIENT AND EASY FOR THEM.ONCE THEY ARE TIRED, THEY SKIP PRAYERS TILL WHEN NEXT IT IS CONVENIENT FOR THEM.
JULIET, CAN I ASK YOU A QUESTION?”
“Yes daddy!”
“AM I BEING UNREASONABLE?”
“No!” I answered.
“WHY?”
“Because I remember very well in the bible when Jesus made a statement. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. The disciples were really tired after a stressful day and Jesus was so unreasonable to carry them to a prayer meeting.
These guys were so tired that immediately the prayer meeting began, they had dosed off. And instead of Jesus to reason with them and tell them to sleep, he was seriously waking them up.
A normal human being will be like. God don’t you understand? I cannot pray! I’m tired! Why have you refused to understand me?
But that was how the enemy took advantage of all the sleeping disciples. Whether they were tired or not was none of his business. He attacked them and even the great Apostle Peter who was called the rock by Jesus himself, denied Jesus.
The principle remains the same. Pray lest you fall into temptation. If you don’t pray, you’ll become a prey.
Lord! All we ask for is grace!”
“JULIET! GRACE IS THERE! GRACE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE. GRACE HAS NEVER BEEN THE PROBLEM. AMOS 3:3. CAN TWO WALK TOGETHER, EXCEPT THEY BE AGREED?
GRACE WILL STARE AT YOU IN THE FACE AND YOU’LL BE STRUGGLING TO PRAY. YOU WILL NEVER AGREE THAT I DON’T HAVE A CHOICE THAN TO PRAY. NO! YOU HAVE SO MANY CHOICES. YOUR BED IS ONE OF THEM.
ONCE THE PRAYER IS TOO DIFFICULT, WHERE’S MY BED? THAT’S THE NEXT THING WE SWITCH INTO.
STRUGGLING TO PRAY IS NOT A BAD THING. IT’S WHEN YOU GIVE UP THAT IT BECOMES BAD. EACH TIME YOU APPEAR IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER, WHETHER YOU STRUGGLE OR NOT, YOU’RE INVITING THE SPIRIT REALM TO HELP YOU IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER.
YOUR CONSISTENCY IS WHAT WILL MAKE TWO OF YOU GET TO MEET EACH OTHER ONE DAY. THAT’S WHAT SATAN IS SERIOUSLY FIGHTING TO AVOID. HE KNOWS THAT ONCE YOU HAVE THAT SUPERNATURAL PRAYING ABILITY, TO STOP YOUR CONSISTENCY IN PRAYER BECOMES AN IMPOSSIBILITY. BECAUSE, YOU ARE NO LONGER STRUGGLING TO DO IT. IT’S TOO EASY NOW!”
NOW THAT’S FOR NUMBER ONE. NUMBER TWO…….”

The place of prayer is a place the devil hates with so much passion. He knows how powerful you’ll become if you engage in it. That’s why he fights tooth and nail to ensure no one prays.
But there’s something I have noticed. In Warfare, you fight to defend yourself. You fight to win. But I have seen believers who are not interested in winning their battles.
They keep complaining of how difficult the battle is and how tired they are about the fight.
Satan loves this kind of people. People who say, ‘I am tired! What is it? The battle is too much!’
Can I ask you a question? Does the devil show mercy? Can you go and beg the devil to leave you and your family alone?
If you can, go ahead! But I want those who are ready to fight to join the end time battalion.
