May was born in the ‘ghetto’. She was born to a Mechanic and Alcohol seller. Her father was the Mechanic, and her mother the alcohol seller.

They were not keen on May becoming educated. They gave birth to her on the first of May and for lack of not having a good name to give their baby, they chose her birth month as the perfect name for her.

May grew up attending the public school in the ghetto but the truth is if you met her far away from home, you would think she was from a wealthy home.

May spoke and acted wisely beyond her age.

By the time she was out of the secondary school, she was a compendium. She knew something about everything. Her friends nicknamed her “Witch” because of her wisdom. She would always refute the name asking them she preferred to be called “Angel” instead.

May’s unique wisdom made her begin to sit with great men. She was invited to conferences to speak as young as 19 years old, and people marvelled at her wisdom.

May got married at 20 years old and her husband confessed he felt he was married to an angel. She was almost perfect. She knew the right things to do. Even May’s parenting skills were top-notch.

By the time May was 33 years old, she was ranked the ‘ Most influential Woman in African”

A journalist decided to write about May and during the intensive interview session, she found out May’s secret…

” I am not a genius, neither am I some special being, I am just a girl who has given her self to serious learning. Seeking Knowledge is my Wisdom source. The day my life changed was the day I read in the scripture that at the age of 12 years old, Jesus sat in the temple reading and discussing scriptures with the elders. That was the turning point for me. I realized Jesus became great not only because He was the Son of God, but because He gave Himself unto knowledge seeking. Proverbs 18:15-16 says ‘An intelligent heart acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great.

If you want to be great and sit in the same room with great men, seek knowledge either by reading books or listening to great people.

I started learning everything I know today from as early as 10 years old when I came across that scriptures.

You can have a great life, a great marriage, a great career, you can raise great children if you can seek knowledge. Even as a Christian, You can become a better Christian even through Seeking Knowledge”

The Journalist’s life never remained the same as well. After putting out the article, she gave herself to seeking Knowledge and in just five years, she became the most popular online blogger.

Dear reader, give yourself to learning, seek knowledge and you will grow in Wisdom.
