Timisire: The Golden Girl Part 34

Favour saw the look in Timisire’s eyes; there was a bit of reservation.

“Why don’t you let her stay with some of her new friends for a while, so she can be balanced emotionally. Whatever must have made her run from home may still be lurking around” Favour suggested

Rereloluwa looked at Timisire, and she also saw what Favour had seen.

“ You don’t want to come home yet? What Ifeoluwa must have said to you must have hurt you really deep. I apologize once again on his behalf.” Rere said.

“ You are right ma, Let her stay here for a week, that way I would have sorted things out with my husband.” Rereloluwa said.

Timisire was glad. She hugged Rereloluwa joyfully, though she felt a stab in her heart knowing she had betrayed her. She could imagine how shattered she would be if she ever found out about what happened between her and Uncle Ifeoluwa.

‘I will bring some clothes for you tomorrow” Rere said

“ Thank you.” Timisire replied, although she wasn’t sure if she would meet her when she came the next day. Timisire still had her plans of escaping in her head.

Rereloluwa left after about two hours. Madam Favour had given her a tour of the LightHouse. Rere saw a completely new world. A world where you could reach out to children and teenagers who didn’t have anyone. Rere committed herself to supporting the Lighthouse with money for feeding every month.

“Andrew , sorry!” Doctor Jemima said as the doctor was applying an ointment on the place where Andrew had suffered the hot water burn.

“ Oh ! Jesus! Why? I did my morning devotion, I even fasted yesterday, Why will you allow this to happen to me?” Andrew said in an outburst…

“ Andrew, Change your words… Thank God the water didn’t pour on your entire body…” Mr Chuks said

‘God, Uncle Chuks, this is too hard to bear… God, Who is that girl? she must be an agent of darkness ooo” Andrew said in pain…

“That’s her” Timisire heard a girl whispering to another girl about her..

“ Hello!” A girl called out

Timisire stopped.

The girl walked towards her…

“ I heard you were the one who bumped into Andrew?”

“ Yes, it was not intentional”

“ Obviously… what is your name? “

“ Timisire”

“ My name is Latiife”

“ Ok?” Timisire knew something was coming for her

“ I hope you didn’t bring bad energy here, incase you did, you better submit yourself to the HolySpirit during the Fire sessions, so that bad energy will dissappear. I am giving you this advice as a show of love. Many come here to test the power of God, but what they fail to realize before coming is that, here at the Lighthouse, it’s either two things, Be Slain or Be Slain.”

Timisire was confused…

“The first slaying is when you are slain in the Spirit, when the Holyghost Kills the flesh in you and lives through you while the second Slaying is when the power of God slays the wicked; Meaning destruction” Latiife said .

Latiife walked away. Latiife was a very blunt girl. She would tell the truth the way she percieved it.

Timisire had more reason to run away from this Lighthouse…

“ Hello” Another greeting voice caught Timisire’s attention. There was so much “ Hellos” Timisire was recieiving..

Timisire turned and met a cute teenager with a beautiful smile.

“ Hi, My Name Is Layomi, short form of Oluwalayomi, which means God is my Joy” Layomi introduced herself with a smile.

“ Timisire” Timisire said though she wasn’t ready for any chitchat.

“ Latiife can appear and talk wicked, but she has the heart of gold, she is just very protective of her friends. She is very nice”

“ She doesn’t come across to me as nice” Timisire said plainly

“ Well, believe it, this is coming from the girl who has lived with her for the past fifteen years, precisely 16 years if we are to count the one year we spent together in our mama’s womb.”

Timisire was shocked

“ Your Twin?”

“ Yes… unidentical”

“ Wow!”

“ Yes Wow! She doesn’t know how to say the truth in a sweet way” Layomi said laughing.

“ Sorry about bumping into Andrew earlier, I believe he will be fine by God’s Grace “ Layomi continued

“ Amen… But judging from your sister’s statement, everyone here must think I have bad energy ”

“ Well, you can prove them otherwise”

“ How?” Timisire asked

“ Come with me?”

Layomi led her to a common room. It was empty. She picked up the Lighthouse Bible that was kept there for the lighters to read.

“ I want to read something from the book of 1 Samuel 10:10-11.

When He(Saul) and his servant arrived at Gibeah, a procession of prophets met him, the Spirit of God came Powerfully upon him, and he joined in their Prophesying. When all those who had formerly known him saw him prophesying with the prophets, they asked each other. “ What is this that has happened to the son of Kish? When did he become a prophet?”

Timisire was lost. She didn’t understand how the scripture concerned her…

“ Most times, we may not have the energy a group posseseses, but by walking or associating with them, over time we begin to exhibit the same level of energy. Saul was not a prophet but when a procession of prophets met him, he began to prophesy like them. So what my sister was trying to say which I know she didn’t say well is that, you should be open minded to contact the Spiritual energy in the Lighthouse, so you won’t be the vessel of casualties.”

“ Vessel of casualties? What’s that?”
